I’ve been all around the world but never had service quite like this. Even before we arrived in Mykonos, Andreas and Esmeralda were helping to arrange our transfer from the ferry port to the hotel, and even helped rebook our ferry when we got off in Tinos instead of Mykonos 😅 When we arrived, Gabriel and Esmeralda greeted us from our van and wheeled all our luggage to the hotel! Note that no vehicles except for some residents are allowed past the main gate, so it was a 5 minute walk from where we were dropped off to the hotel. Esmeralda helped us get settled in and mapped out some beaches and restaurants for us - everything she recommended was excellent!!!||Our room was sparkling clean, and we were welcomed with cold towels, glasses of prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon, and a bottle of white wine to enjoy in our room. We booked the Sunset View room with a balcony, and we could not have asked for a better room. Housekeeping was so efficient and had our room cleaned while we ate breakfast everyday and it was so nice to come back to a clean room during the hottest parts of the day to freshen up before going out again at night. The Clarins toiletries were wonderful, and we regret not picking some up on the way out!||The breakfast each day was wonderful - we always opted for iced lattes and the freshly squeezed orange juice. Very generous portions and enough to keep us full until suppertime. Thank you so much to Kristina and Valeria for the exceptional service and remembering our coffee orders after our first day!||Esmeralda also helped to curate our experience in Mykonos to make the most of our three days - we enjoyed a sunset catamaran cruise with a small group of other hotel guests, and visited Scorpios on our first night. We had such peace of mind being able to so easily communicate with the hotel, and knowing that the logistics of our plans were always taken care of. Even if we made a wrong turn to walk to our restaurant from the hotel, Esmeralda or Andreas would come running down the stairs and across the square to make sure we were headed in the right direction! ||The Skybar is also a must-see for the panoramic views of Mykonos at night! So romantic, and the cocktails were priced well. You can’t beat the location - the hotel was perfectly situated in the Old Town and was a short walk from Little Venice and all the best shopping.||Words cannot do justice to how much we enjoyed our stay, and how warm, kind and attentive all the staff were. Their attention to detail is truly what makes this hotel luxurious. We hope to...

The Pros Excellent location Nice view from our room Nice front of house staff Excellent breakfast included Airport transfers included at no charge
The Cons Extremely rude rooftop hostess. He is also noted in another Trip Advisor review as being rude to another guest in the past. First he asked if I had a reservation when there were more than 10 + available tables after I explained I was staying at the hotel he then proceeded to condescendingly ask me if I could afford the 25 euro minimum consumption to sit on the roof. The hotel does not mention in it's advertising that reservations or a minimum consumption are required to use this hotel amenity. Getting to 25 euro is pretty easy when drinks are 16 euro + per. I let the hotel manager know about this and she chose to do nothing about her staff issues. Sky Bar (the roof) is nosy until about 9pm and then 54 Cocktail Lounge (the main floor bar) is nosy until about 2am. Normally wouldn't care about this put they assigned us room # 11 (that is previously mentioned as well) which is sandwiched in between both of these. So, on the one night we stayed in we couldn't get to sleep until after 2am. Room # 11 is TINY, barley enough room to walk around the bed, is loud from the two bars, but does have nice sunset views. No king sized beds on property
Overall I am not sure I would stay here again. At almost 300 euro per night at the end of season I feel like there are better options available. Perhaps if the staff had addressed the issues with the rooftop staff which happened within hours of checking in my opinion would be different, but they chose not to... so, I would highly recommend looking around more and reading all the reviews before booking here... becuase...
Read moreWedding trip from Texas to Mykonos. As Texans we use “ma’am” and/or “sir” as a respectful form to address anyone. It’s polite and well mannered. We were excited for this trip. Upon our arrival we met with the receptionist, Katerina, and addressed her as “ma’am” as she showed us our room. Towards the end of the tour she said she’s not that old to call her “ma’am”, confused we clarified it’s a term we use as a form of respect taught at a very young age. She laughed it off after we explained it. We greeted everyone there as “‘ma’am” or sir, with no issues. On our last night, we were coming back from ATVing, thirsty we decided to go back to the hotel grab some water and head to dinner. We met the same receptionist, Katerina, and asked for some water. We walked up to the skylight to take some final pictures. We noticed she runs up the stairs with the water, hands it to us and angrily states “Do Not Call Me Ma’m!” and ran back down the stairs. We were shocked to say the least at the way she spoke to us. After our 6 and final night, our moods completely changed. We felt very uncomfortable and frankly did not want to pass the reception desk that night. It was very sad because we did enjoy our stay up until that point. Our whole immediate family stayed there for my sister’s wedding. Esmeralda and Andreas were amazing! Always greeted us with a friendly smile no matter the time of day. They truly went above and beyond! Esmeralda apologized for the incident and thanked us...
