Estrella Rhodes — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

We tried to eat there today (27.04.2025 at 3PM) but we where ingnored for about 20 min. We even changed our sets nearer to the entry and got a menu. We asked one of the young woman who cleand the table twice but nothing helped - we left after 20 min and did not get anything - and btw - the place was nearly empty... very annoying. On our way out i talked to some people inside the restaurant and one of them smiled ad us and the other one with the headset was wondering that nobody saw us......

Περίμεναμε 40 λεπτά και μας αγνόησαν. Κανείς δεν μας χαιρέτησε ή πήρε την παραγγελία μας. Δεν ξέρουμε αν καθίσαμε σε μια άβολη περιοχή του καφέ (κοντά στην παιδική χαρά) ή αν δεν θέλουν γενικά να εξυπηρετούν οικογένειες με παιδιά. Αν και ο διπλανός μας τραπέζι μαζεύτηκε, κανείς δεν ασχολήθηκε με εμάς.

Απλώς χρησιμοποιήσαμε την παιδική χαρά και φύγαμε να φάμε αλλού.

Κρίμα.

English:

We waited for 40 minutes and were ignored. Nobody greeted us or took our order. We are not sure if we were sitting in an inconvenient part of the café (near the playground) or if families with children are generally not served here. Although the table next to us was cleared, we were simply passed by.

We ended up just using the playground and then went somewhere else to eat.

What a shame.

Wir warteten 40 Minuten und wurden ignoriert. Niemand hat uns begrüßt oder unsere Bestellung aufgenommen. Ob wir in einem ungünstigen Teil des Cafés sitzen (beim Spielplatz) oder ob man grundsätzlich keine Familien mit Kindern bedienen möchte, wissen wir nicht. Obwohl der Tisch neben uns abgeräumt wurde, ist man einfach an uns vorbeigegangen.

Wir haben dann nur den Spielplatz genutzt und sind woanders essen...

This place has such a beautiful setting. Despite the heat all around, this place was very cool. We sat outside for breakfast among the trees and birds. We ordered the Avacado toast which was tasty and service was wonderful. The host was very warm and welcoming. It can be great place to get your kids, there was a playground adjacent to the restaurant. Kids would definitely have a great time here and peaceful place...
