Overall unpleasant experience.
I ordered a greek salad and was really surprised that grated cabbage and carrots were hidden under the tomatoes and cucumbers. This salad was not only small and expensive but also filled with cheap vegetables that have nothing to do with an authentic greek salad.
At the end of our lunch, the waiter wanted us to pay cash, we refused, then he insisted that we paid with only one card because he had no time to do multiple transactions for us (the restaurant was litteraly empty at that moment so he had plenty of time to handle our payments). He spent a lot of time repeating this, like four times, which is quite funny for someone who "has no time". He was quite upset and tried to convince us that paying individually was unusual and very annoying for him. In the end we paid separately so I really don't understand the point of this argument.

Read moreFound this place after doing a Segway Tour round the old town (the day before we left). Gentleman at the door was friendly and welcoming. One of our party is vegetarian and he whipped out a completley separate vegetarian menu for her. She was beyond pleased. Lunchtime menu is affordable and good quality. We enjoyed lunch so much we came back for supper. Supper time we were greeted as old friends and given some complimentary ouzo. We all had mains and deserts and several drinks. Food was wonderful. Baklava was out of this world. They then offer you homemade liqueur afterwords. This restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and the staff are warm and friendly. They are attentive but not intrusive. The first place we have been to where we haven't been rushed out the door after we have finished our food. We came back the following evening for our final meal before leaving. Amazing place. Will be back when we...

It included the spit roast lamb, new potatoes, salad, red-dyed eggs, Easter bread, and cookies. It was great. One large table was set up for the family and staff and they were having the same dinner. We had 5 nights in the Old Town, and this was the one restaurant we ate at twice. The second time we shared mezes. I loved the overhanging bougainvillea vines in bloom, which kept shedding flowers in the floor. This just added to the ambience of the establishment. It's away from the heavy tourist traffic which also makes it quieter, though they still have menus in...
