I have travelled extensively in Greece and have a great love of the country because of the people who are so friendly and humble. However, I cannot say the same after visiting this restaurant on my second night in Rhodes. I arrived early and was to meet my BF here. After standing for over 5 mins I was shown to a table. I sat for 10 mins without a menu nor a request for a drink. Eventually I made eye contact with a waiter. I asked what type of Gin do you have- he appeared put out and stumbled to say Gin. I gathered he really didn't know so I ordered a beer and a pizza. After about another 10 mins a different waiter passed my table and I asked her what Gin they had- unfortunately for me to referred to first waiter who shouted the same as I told you 10 mins ago. He proceeded to shout and point his finger at me in the open restaurant. He went into the bar and returned with 2 bottles of Gin. He continued to shout at me. I got up to leave and he ran into the kitchen and put the pizza in front of me. I told him I'm cancelling that and left 10e on the table for the 1 beer. He than ran down the street after me demanding payment for the pizza which I refused. He said he would call the police and I said please do. He than turned away and called me an idiot. I think sir, you are...
Read moreSad experience! We were looking for fish and walked by some restaurants and ended up here because we were basically too hungry to look somemore. We chose for what was called “fresh” salmon and sea bass plus a greek salad. It took forever to get the food. Also this was unfortunately the worst meal we had in Rhodes so far. The salmon was flat, dry, greasy and tasted old.. the sea bass was ok. The salad tasted like nothing. We just had no energy to complain and wait for other options so we ate it. We did mention our disappointment when asked for our opinion. There was unfortunately no acknowledgment of it at all. We paid and left.. The staff were friendly and the meat on other tables looked good. I guess fish is not their...
Read moreThe staff are very friendly. We enjoyed the grilled octopus starter, but that was unfortunately all which was good. The Greek salad missed salt and pepper and vinegar. The house wine both white and red was not good at all! My wife sent back her glass of white wine and we had no refund or apologies from the restaurant. We ordered a small bottle of white instead and that was good. Our main courses both had meat which was very tough and not a pleasure to eat. We cannot believe the other good reviews. We spent 77.50 € for food and wine for two, which we...
