Taqueria Muchachos Rhodes — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

Californian stamp of approval! Best mexican food weve had after living and travelling in europe for 3 years. Would be happy to only eat here for the rest of the week were in Rhodes.

We tried these tacos: Pulled pork Sweet potato  dreams Symi later shrimp Special- chicken with poblano mole Baja fish

All were delicious with the classic drip down the hand juiciness. Spiced well, not too spicy. Each had a different, well thought out, well treated sauces and ingredients. And they were generous portions. Tender but crisp corn tortillas made from scratch with maize imported from Mexico! They've managed to not only make a good taco, but a good elevated taco! And like 7 styles of them!

Young chef, clever and creative with recipes. Knows what hes doing and will probably be going places!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff/owner/partner (not sure what his position was) gave us a description of each taco that made me want to order everything (we basically did).

Easy going atmosphere, trendy, clean, and colorful.

Could improve: beer selection, because beer is a taco's...

TLDR: We had 4 out of 6 different tacos, every one was unique and rich in flavour, sides and drinks were also very delicious! The prices were more than adequat.

We came as tourists - looking for some good mexican food and tired of all the expensive taverns, calling themselves "authentic". The atmosphere in "Taqueria Muchachos" is very charming but as we took the first bite of our chicken tacos we thought - this must not only cooked with heart, but with a lots of finesse! Every ingredient is well-placed so that all these flavours in their richness can unfold themselves in your mouth: sweet, savoury, tangy....everything just makes sense. We are convinced, this is not any fancy schmancy trendbar, as the prices are more than adequate. Was not really keen on Mexican food as I wanted the real Greek experience . How ever Iv got a huge mexican obsession as I have spent a lot of time In Mexico, Tijuana, sayulita and Mexico City.I have also lived in dan Diego where the worlds best taquerias are world known,,, This friendly Aussie guy promised they had the best tacos I would ever have.. we loved this Aussie bloke and took his word for it. And owe my god was he right. Up there with the best tacos iv ever had. I ordered 6 between my wife and the salad which was tasty and generous. The tacos were that good we had to explore and order more. This Aussie guy also convinced us on some margaritas which were equally as good. We come back the next day and was the same quality.
