★☆☆☆☆ — Pure scam, avoid at all costs

From the outside, this restaurant looks absolutely stunning — elegant decor, flowers, well-dressed staff — everything suggests a high-end dining experience. But unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant visits we’ve ever had.

We were three people and had high expectations. I ordered a Margherita pizza (12.50 CHF), my friend had pasta with truffle, and the third had a lamb dish with rice and sauce.

After ordering, we waited 45 minutes before my pizza arrived. It was tiny, barely warm, and honestly tasted like a frozen supermarket pizza — the kind you get for 2 bucks. I had to start eating alone because the others still had no food. 15 minutes later, the pasta came. The sauce was completely flavorless and just tasted like greasy meat fat. No sign of any truffle.

Another 10 minutes later, the lamb dish finally arrived. The meat texture was terrible — you had to chew for several minutes before swallowing, and it tasted like absolutely nothing.

We decided to give feedback at the end, hoping to at least address the issues. I asked a tall blonde waitress if my pizza was frozen — she replied with only: "Sir, you ate it." That’s it. No further explanation. I tried to bring up the other two dishes, but she literally walked away mid-conversation. A few minutes later she returned, handed us the bill without a word, and ignored everything we tried to say. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Nothing about this place justifies the price or the presentation. It’s a complete scam — beautiful looks hiding terrible food and awful service. Save your money and go...

We visited Zebrano twice during our time in Rhodes. Our first visit was lovely, great food and a pretty environment. Unfortunately, the experience during our second visit was awful to say the least.

We ordered a club sandwich to share between us, however two arrived when served. We sent the second one back straight away and thought nothing further of it.

After finishing our food, my partner went to the loo and the waiter who took our order (and who we understand to be the manager and whom has been mentioned in numerous negative reviews we have read since) came over to me and aggressively shouted in my face that we had ordered two, not one. He wouldn’t allow me to speak at all and I was disgusted and shocked at his abusive tone towards a customer, particularly in full view of others.

My partner then returned from the loo and before he could get back to the table he was accosted by the same waiter. After explaining how he was incorrect and had been mistaken, my partner returned to the table when I told him about my encounter minutes before. The waiter kept insisting we pay for two meals but eventually backed down when my partner stated we would only pay for the meal we had ordered and consumed.

We found the whole ordeal extremely stressful, and other customers who had seen this unfold also checked that I was OK before we departed. I would strongly advise against anybody from supporting this business and would certainly concur with the other negative reviews on this man, despite the food and other waiters being of a...

This is hands down (and i am not exaggerating) this is the best meal i have eaten in a very long time!

The location, service, and food was impeccable. The starter was amazing. It is the first time I have had fish with burrata and it worked so well.

It was served with plumb tomatoes and basil leaves. The anchovies tasted so fresh and were grilled. The whole dish worked so well together.

The lamb shank is the cooked perfectly (I highly recommend this), the meat was so tender and flavoursome, it fell off the bone.

The mash and vegetables worked so well with it, and were again cooked perfectly. The gravy was also so tasty.

K would also like to mention the presentation! Look how beautiful these plates are! (especially the starter)

Garnished with pansies, they really made these dishes look special. The location was also beautiful too, tucked away in a little courtyard, this is one of the most beautiful locations to enjoy an amazing meal with a friend, family or partner!

My one and only criticism was i thought the burrata could have been a little bigger in ratio to the amount of anchovies we were served (however this is me being extremely picky, and also comes down to the fact i love burrata).
