A World-Class Culinary Experience — Fisheria Deserves a Michelin Star
Having dined at some of the best restaurants around the world in 98 countries, I can confidently say that Fisheria in Thessaloniki ranks as the second-best restaurant I’ve ever experienced — just behind La Ceviceria in Cartagena, Colombia. What sets Fisheria apart is its extraordinary variety and sophistication across the menu.
From carpaccio and bacalao sashimi to tartar and made-to-order grilled red snapper, every dish is executed with the kind of precision and creativity you'd expect at a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York. The ingredients are pristine, and the flavors are balanced and refined.
Add to this an exceptional wine selection, great service, and a authentic and unpretentious yet welcoming atmosphere, and you have an experience that no true foodie should miss.
Skip the overpriced tourist traps along the waterfront. Fisheria is where the real culinary magic happens in Thessaloniki. For those who know what they’re looking for, this place is a hidden gem worthy of...

(I’m not responsible for this slightly complicated ordering situation so don’t get annoyed with me because I didn’t ask for a price list- you should provide one and it’s difficult to ask when we’re made to feel like we’re bothering someone). The food is very tasty and fresh (including the vegetables) but I was disappointed by how unfriendly and unhelpful the manager was, I felt like I was bothering him. I think you could do better and customers who are expected to pay this much money deserve to be treated well so that’s why I’m sharing...

I wanted to go and pay for the nice appetisers I saw but they try to trick you and say it's a closed menu all inclouded and then they take you to the fishery and they weigh what you ask for, when it was already 35 euro for me he said I have to order 15 more and then I asked what about the starters I want? He had said first closed menu but when I kept insisting as I noticed it was tricky and (tourist trap) he said his boss had said I couldn't stay. I wanted 3 starters priced 50 euro total plus drink but that wasn't enough while it was...
