Encouraged by good opinions, we decided to grab some food in this place.
During eating mussels, we found in our food a bug that looked like cockroach. Waiter said that it's some kind of normal animal that lives in the sea and sometimes gets to the mussel.
I've never encountered something like this in the seafood - and for me, it looks pretty much like german cockroach (look at the long whiskers and small hooks on the legs). We consulted the situation with few people with knowledge of seafood, and they also were suprised that we found it in our plate.
They swapped the plate for a new portion but we weren't hungry anymore.
We paid for the food but excluding those feral mussels (after we mentioned that we don't really want to pay for this dish).
I think it would be suitable to not charge us after all that and the staff didn't seem to care very much about or problem. I advise you to check your meal before eating - you may find similar "sea...
Read moreThe worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Greece. We waited over 1.5 hours for the main courses, and during that time, the staff completely ignored us. No eye contact, no updates, no service — we had to get up to the counter ourselves just to ask for ketchup for the kids. Not a single apology was given. It seemed like they saw this kind of chaos as normal. We were a group of 8 (3 kids and 5 adults), and only after waiting an hour we asked them to at least serve the kids’ meals. After another long wait, they brought the kids’ food, and that was it — no adult meals. Eventually, we asked to cancel the adult dishes, and suddenly they “remembered” to bring them — way too late. Even paying was a disaster. They kept us waiting at the counter with no urgency at all. I expected the bare minimum of professionalism, and they failed at even that. Never going back...

Like any restaurant in Thessaloniki that I visited, they put water on the table and serve you, in all of them it was free of charge, except this one ! 1,50 € per person... even if you don't ask or touch the glass. They put a piece of bread per person in a wooden box with forks and knives, except that they say nothing and even if you don't touch the bread, they charge you 1,00 € per person ! And last but not least, they propose chicken fillet fillet in a creamy sauce, price is between 7 and 8,50 € based on fillet weight, fair enough.... First it comes with rice that can fit in one spoon and the same portion of salad ! Imagine the size ! and of course they charge me 9,00 €. I let you imagine how honest are...
