We ordered a starter, 2 main courses and a bottle of wine. The starter came with one of the main courses 45 minutes later. The second main course, a premium cut pichania (30 euro cost) came 55 minutes later. It was requsted to be cooked medium to rare. The waiter sliced the pichania infront of us and served it. It was overcooked. Since we waited that much we though 'nevermind, it will be tasty, let's not wait 45 minutes more'. Not!! When we said that the pichania dissapointed us and that it wasn't cooked as we requested the waiter replied that 'I noticed that, when I was slicing it, but since you didn't say anything I didn't either'. That was an interesting way to reply! It gets more interesting though! Another waiter who collected the plates asked politely 'how was your dinner?' and when we replied that we didn't really enjoy it, showing the overcooked pichania still lying on the plate, he said... 'yes, i can see that'! Haha! The restaurant and the service was a bad joke! The rest of the plates were just ok! I don't...
Read moreTo start with staff were really accommodating- there was an ingredient in a salad we ordered that they changed due to an allergy which was great. The salad was really very good, however the tarama we were served was warm and off. We sent it back (which is embarrassing and not a thing I’ve ever done before). The waiter then told me that he checked with the chef who said it was fine and perhaps I didn’t like the taste (off fish?). We also ordered grilled sardines which were over cooked and dry, but worst of all were ALSO covered in the off tarama!
I tried to flag down a waiter for 10 mins- there were 4 of them chilling in the street, but they didn’t come over, so I left cash on the table (they charged for the plate we sent back) and went home.
20 mins later I had a stomach ache from the 1 mouthful of tarama and half a sardine and felt nauseous.
The salad was so good, the fish was just not fresh. It’s put me off seafood...
Read moreIt's our second time here. The first time, I didn't want to leave negative feedback for the watery risotto, but this time, the food wasn't good either. I ordered €17 beef steak with sautéed mushrooms and red peppers, but they served me a pork steak with tomato sauce and mustard sauce instead. When I spoke to the waiter and the manager about the wrong order, no one admitted the mistake. Instead, they tried to assure me that the sautéed mushrooms were in the sauce. Greek people shouldn't use french words because they dont understand anything other than gyro. Overall, Loupino has a ridiculous attitude towards their customers. In addition, I ordered my meat midium but received a well-done steak, which leads me to think that the restaurant doesn't cook the food to order but has everything pre-cooked. Moreover, they served us stale bread without us ordering it. I had to ask the waiter to change the old...
