The worst restaurant experience ever, The waiter came to serve us half an hour after we sat down (even though the place was nearly empty), and only brought us water and stale bread, which we didn’t order and were charged for. Afterwards, we found a piece of hair in the tzatziki, and the waiter hesitantly brought us another one after 40 minutes of waiting. To top it all off, we found YET ANOTHER piece of hair in the main dish, and the waiter refused to acknowledge it, and when he finally did, argued that it was not theirs, that it was impossible that it came from any of their staff. Of course, they charged us for it even though we didn’t touch the food, and didn’t even make an effort to apologize. After another long wait and an unsuccessful attempt to get another plate of food, they brought the bill, which was written down on a shady piece of paper and we had no idea what we were being charged for. Overall terrible, don’t set a foot in...
Read moreThe atmosphere was not cool for one reason, and that was the waiters. We were greeted with kindness, but it felt insincere and intrusive, but we fell for it and ordered dinner at this restaurant. Everything was going well, but comparing Greek cuisine to other tavernas, the food in this one was not delicious, but it was attractive, and this is probably another reason why we accepted the invitation. But these are all subjective reasons, and as for the objectivity, we were cheated - we were immediately brought bread (stale rolls) and water, which we did not order, so we considered it a compliment from the restaurant (because it is a common thing in Greece) and when we received the bill, we saw 2 extra items, asked the waiter and he said that it was water (€1.90) and bread (€3.40), we paid, but we will not return there again. So be careful in this place with...
Read moreThe receptionist lady and some waiters might seem a bit cocky at first; but we gave it to their rush. But after all, printing out Turkish menu might not be the only favor to Turkish visitors but also try to understand their confusion. Greek Tavern and Turkish Meyhane's are quite similar in many ways but some details differ. And it's our right to ask something to get a full grasp. You need to be more understanding in some questions. Apart from that, salads are amazing, very delicious. Meze's are also tasty. The rib we ate was ok but I don't recommend for a large group. The service was fast and waiters speak English good. The price was quite reasonable, it's not expensive.
In that bohemian street, it's was a nice dinner for us for hour and a half. But for longer stays, maybe you look up to...
