⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Beautiful View, Poor Service
There’s a reason this restaurant sits in a tourist-heavy area yet wasn’t busy.
The service was disappointing from the start. Servers looked annoyed and unwelcoming. We ordered two beers, but only one ever came—possibly because their ordering system went down. While system issues happen, every staff member disappeared to the back instead of explaining the problem, leaving guests waiting in confusion. A simple update would have gone a long way.
Seating was also uncomfortable. The tables are packed too closely together, and I continuously bumped chairs with the man behind me, making it difficult to sit back and relax.
To make matters worse, bugs were falling onto our table and on us. When I asked the waiter what they were, he seemed bothered by the question and simply replied, “they are new bugs, we are aware.” Not exactly reassuring.
The only saving graces were the view and the food. The views from the patio are breathtaking, especially after finishing the Fira–Oia hike. As for the food: I had the gyros with pita, tzatziki, fries, tomato, and onion. The fries were dry but decently seasoned, while the gyros were flavorful, tender, and a generous portion. The tzatziki was fresh and bright. My wife had the pork souvlaki with fries, tomato, and tzatziki—the pork was juicy, well-marinated, and very enjoyable.
Overall, the scenery and food deserve credit, but the rude service, cramped seating, bugs, and lack of communication made this a disappointing stop. There are far better places in Oia...
Read moreWe were tired, sweaty, and overheated, and we were done with fighting the throngs of people trying to take pictures of the blue domes. We needed a quiet place to sit down, relax, and I had always wanted to try Greek frappé, so when we walked past and asked one of the hostesses if they had Greek coffee and she said yes, this seemed good enough. Once we were seated, it became clear this was a beautiful, tasteful establishment with beautiful views, lovely atmosphere, and an amazing menu. We didn't have time to sample the food, but we watched as many other patrons were served beautiful, mouthwatering dishes, and we had chilled water and delicious Greek frappés, some of which were served with ice cream in them. They were chilled, smooth, and subtly sweet, and it was nice to finally relax and appreciate the stunning views of the island without feeling overwhelmed by crowds. The servers were all so kind and attentive, and we really appreciated getting to experience a lovely local restaurant. Definitely put this down as a must-see when in Oia, and we hope to return one day to sample the...

We stopped here for our last meal in Santorini before we caught our flight home and they did not disappoint!
I ordered the Gyro Pork and Lamb combo, and my wife ordered the Pork Beze. They where both delicious.
I’m going to ramble a bit. When I sat here looking out at the beautiful view while eating my Gyros I couldn’t help but wonder why is it that so many restaurants in a very small area have such amazing tasting food? The only thing that makes sense is that the competition is so significantly high in this area that the standards for quality food are so high that any restaurant serving less than fantastic food just won’t make it in this area. The bar is just too high for average tasting food in this area.
You’re gonna love this place.
The food truly is phenomenal. Their cook times are surprisingly fast as well. This was probably the fastest place we went to the entire trip.
We’ll be sure to stop by when we come back here later this year.
