Piatsa Souvlaki Grill House Oia — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

My partner was tying his shoe lace outside their restaurant and suddenly the server rushed towards us mentioning to have a seat inside. We already had our dinner but the server insisted to come inside and we were unable to deny him (that was our biggest mistake). We saw the menu and the dishes were very affordable . So, We guys ordered one dish. Earlier they were trying to be very friendly so that one should place maximum order and oncd we placed the order , they started giving cold behaviour. After finishing our meal, we asked him for the bill and he simply ignored us for 2-3 times. What a rude staff . And after asking one more time , he mentioned “what do you want “. That were the exact words. I was literally shocked how bad their stafff is. When we asked him we just wanted to pay, he said ok and never came to our table for like 10 minutes. He was continuously talking to other customer (obviously he wanted his customers to place maximum amount order ). I was so frustrated that I went to the front counter and asked them I wanted to pay. After bill got paid, me and my partner just wanted to run from there and never wanted to return to this overrated place. That’s the difference between their restaurant and other oia’s restaurant. What a fantastic experience! The location is super convenient, right beside the bus stop, making it easy to stop by for a bite when you're on the go. From the moment we sat down, the servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a great meal.

Service was lightning fast—seriously, within about two minutes of sitting down, our drinks were already on the table, and our food followed right after. We ordered the gyros, and they were absolutely delicious. Full of flavor, tender, and just the right amount of seasoning. You could tell they were made with care and quality ingredients.

And let's not forget about the price—it was incredibly reasonable for the quality and speed of service. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to should I ever visit Oía again!

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. Firstly after taking a seat it took the waiter about 3 minutes to even acknowledge us. After ordering and waiting a little longer for just 6 pita wraps we left the restaurant and realised our entire order was wrong. We clearly stated upon ordering we would like tazaki in all of the pitas. That did not happen and the normal sauce was put on it even though we explicitly stated tazaki on all of them at least 2 times. Definitely go here if you like waiters not listening to your Oder and getting it wrong as they did not even provide us the correct meat as we ordered one pita with souvlaki and received only gyros pitas. If you love not getting what you ordered this is the perfect restaurant for you. As for the quality of the food it was mid and there was nothing special about it.
