The Summer Habit — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

I’m warning you now. DO NOT go to this restaurant under any circumstances. Here’s what happened. My friends and l (THREE of us) ordered food. Our other friend (fourth person) arrived to eat with us at our table after ordering her VEGAN food from a different restaurant. This restaurant did not have vegan options so she went elsewhere. One of the staff (bald male) approached us telling our friend she needed to leave. As a result, my friends and I left. Our food hadn't arrived, we hadn’t eaten anything. Thus, we decided to leave especially since we already felt a bad vibe upon walking in. The bald male staff proceeded to aggressively chase us. Full on running. I’m not kidding. Put on a whole show for nothing. Placed his hands on my sister like a complete an*mal. Then placed his hands on me. Pushing us. Pulling my sister. Attempting to block us. Yelling “I’ll call the police” hysterically. Quite literally lost his mind. He then stole a bottle of water from a nearby shop and poured it on my friends and I, yelling profanities. Still chasing us by the way. Unreal. This isn’t the first time this has happened here. If you read previous reviews it happened to others as well. So heed the warning or not. Their food is also subpar. The only reason we came to them is because the restaurant to the right of them was packed.

Two of my friends and I went here for dinner during a full day bus tour. As soon as we walked in the owner seemed off which prompted one of my friends to look up the reviews, some mentioned that they had been harassed by the staff but it had been a long day and we were hungry. There were 4 of us in the group, but one of us decided to get takeout from another restaurant due to dietary restrictions. She came back to join us and the owner rudely said to her, “no you can’t do that, we have food here,” we had already ordered 3 meals from this establishment and she would have ordered a drink. My friend left without question. The way he spoke to her was so unsavory and disrespectful it made us uncomfortable and we decided to leave. So before our food came out, and no more than 10 minutes after we ordered, the 3 of us got up and left. The owner tried to corner us at the entrance, but we just kept walking. He then chased us down the square grabbing my one friends bag and arm insisting we pay for food we didn’t eat (and they probably didn’t prepare) and threatening to call the police. And still we kept walking. Finally, he stole a bottle of water from a mini mart and proceeded to dowse the three of us in water, while screaming profanities, then throwing the bottle at us. DO NOT EAT HERE! There are tons of other options in the area AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT...

STAY AWAY from these guys if you do not want to be shouted and screamed at , with utter rudeness and disrespect!

We came in for breakfast and ordered lots of food and drink. We had bought some doughnuts from next door to take away . The owner saw it and immediately asked us to “ throw it into the garbage as no outside food allowed into the restaurant even for takeaway “ ! We were instantly shocked with his rudeness inspite of us not even eating the takeaway food there and pleaded that we could at least keep it in our bag , to which he reluctantly said “ no “ and threatened to call the police .

After again pleading with him , he allowed and we kept the food in a bag . He could have used simple courtesy , instead of screaming and shouting . Perhaps , he does not care less about customers since the location is good right infront of the bus station .

If you scroll down and read some of the reviews , you will come across the same issue - rudeness and no customer service ! They say in Greece a customer is akin to god but for these guys a customer is just a piece of trash ! Stay away...
