Fine dining food. We enjoyed tasty tropical shrimp dish with pineapple and a good grilled tuna steak (potatoes slightly too hard and grilled vegetables lacked flavour). The caprese salad was good but could have done with fresh mozzarella. Good quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar are offered with plenty of complimentary garlic bread. The final highlight was the homemade ice cream with multiple flavours. Very creamy. Whipped cream wasn't necessary for the purists.
The sunset view was lovely. The fans and the linen blinds helped balance the sun's intensity across the evening. The service staff were very attentive... if not too attentive/intense, reducing a calm fine dining experience into a more typical restaurant, such as taking a plate away the same second it was finished. The restaurant really does offer high quality food but the atmosphere with high volume party music does not match. A think over the restaurant's identity would be important - does it cater for fine dining and families, or for partygoers. I recognise this...
No te ves bien gritando y humillando.
Everything was going great — the food was delicious, the service was good, the staff were hardworking and kind, and the place was spotless. But that all changed when the owner arrived — the woman with short hair and a cap — and began yelling at and humiliating her employees as if they were worthless. The video we took only captures a small part of what she was shouting at them we can not plug the video. My husband and I approached her and asked why she was treating her staff that way. She replied, “I’ve told them so many times, and they just don’t listen.” My husband responded that there are better ways to speak to people — but not like that. As we left, we heard her yelling at them again, saying: “It’s your fault I’m being scolded!” This comes from both my husband and me: it’s not the employees’ fault, it’s your arrogance—believing that because you’re the owner, you’re better than them. Yes, they need you, but you also need them. And one day, life itself will teach you a lesson.
You don’t look good yelling at others, and it’s not something a good human being does to humiliate people the way you do. I hope God enlightens you so that you can understand that if your employees don’t respond to you, it’s because they fear losing their jobs—not because they’re wrong. Don’t blame your employees for your egotistical and despotic behavior. They don’t ask you to be this way — that’s a choice you made. And sooner or later, the universe will take care of the consequences of...
Read moreThe food was tasty but simple and too oily. The pasta was slightly undercooked. For the price I expected more but the food tasted good nonetheless. Portion size was good.
They added more than 10% of our total to the bill for service which in my opinion was way too much seen as the service was quite poor. While ordering, the waitress kept coming to our table even though we said we needed more time, however after we ordered they never checked in or asked if we wanted dessert. It took us very long to get the attention of a waiter to get the check.
We were promised a table on the edge of the balcony, but another couple that arrived after us was sat there first. We had to wait somewhere else until another table became available. We only got it right before our food arrived.
Overall decent restaurant but definitely overpriced for what you get. Location is good though, especially around sunset the view...
