Our cooking class in Flores with Chef Glenda was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, she greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The class started with a visit to the local market, which offered a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in the area. Glenda guided us through it all, sharing insights and tips with the help of translation, though we found her very easy to chat with in my basic-intermediate Spanish.
The class itself was incredibly well-organized and fun. Glenda created a relaxed and engaging environment, and we enjoyed connecting with the other students as we prepared the recipes. Most impressive was how thoughtfully she accommodated my wife’s gluten and dairy allergies, using corn tortillas in the pepian instead of bread—an extra touch that we deeply appreciated.
Glenda’s joy and passion for cooking made the experience extra special, and the food we made was absolutely delicious. We can’t recommend this class...

Everything was very tasty, I had the opportunity to try authentic Mayan food and I had a great time on my last...
