I had dinner here one night out of convenience since it was near my hotel. But frankly both the service and food were awful. The pizza tasted as if the chef just put pizza toppings on bread and called it a day. The drinks (jamaica & lemondade) were decent. Our waiter that night was nice. The next day we tried coming here for breakfast and we tried to get someone to seat us. There were several empty tables that just hadn't been cleaned. I asked a person behind the register how long a wait for two people since there was no one at the entrance to greet us and I just got attitude from the old guy telling me there was someone there. A waiter came shortly to clear the table for a group of people that got there after us. We left instead deciding not to waste our money at a place that isn't welcoming...

The food in this restaurant is simply disgusting. We ordered a pizza Margherita, nachos supreme, and the sandwich de la casa. The waiter did not say a single word to us and the service was extremely slow. The drinks tasted good, but they did not have alcohol in them at all. The dishes arrived after roughly 40-45 minutes despite the fact that there were 10 people in the restaurant with us. The pizza was from a pre-made pizza base which was gummy and lacked any taste. I couldn’t recognise what cheese they used since it also lacked any taste at all. The nachos were the worst I have ever tried in my life and the sandwich lacked any of the menu mentioned ingredients. Overall, I advise you to stay away from this place and go look for cheaper and better...

The Fettuccine Alfredo and Fettuccine Lasagna were delicious. Maybe we were just hungry, but they were as good as I've had back home. The sauce seems really watery when it comes out, but it is rather yummy and scoops up nicely as you go. The bread came out warm and was soft and wonderful as well! There is definitely a lot of cheese and milk in it though, so lactose intolerants beware.

If you're really looking for some Guatamalan flavor, their Maracuyá (passion fruit) and Guanábana (soursop) drinks are absolutely worth a try. They are non alcoholic and taste like the fruits themselves. Quite possibly the best drinks we've had...

Good option if you want a break from the "backpacker" food or street food (which can be quite limited and mediocre on Flores island). I ordered the hilachas de res (a Guatemalan dish I hadn't seen much of in Antigua and other places). It tasted like they used the same broth/base as the pepian. The horchata had a slightly acrid aftertaste. Service was a bit slow for a restaurant under 50% capacity, but it's something to get used to in Guatemala. I might return to try the pasta and pizza, which seem to have better reviews.
