A group of us attended for lunch and ordered individually. When the food arrived, unfortunately one of the orders was incorrect. We thought about going up to the counter and asking for the one we ordered, however, decided to just deal with it and eat it. We did not complain at all, we just had a small conversation at the table away from the counter. The man who took the order abruptly approached our table in the middle of us eating and said “We can fix the problem if you just come to the counter and sort it out” without even asking if everything was okay. We said no it’s fine with the cashiers response as “Well then fine”. He did not even apologise once. The staff were also not friendly at all. Overall the service was absolutely appalling! The food was basic with not much flavour and soggy chips which is also disappointing. As we left no one said Thankyou or have a nice day or even a small apology. Will...
Read moreA top place to get insulted free of cost!! Some basic mannerisms of the hospitality industry are severely lacking. Upon finding a seat, we called a staff member (who was standing in the vicinity) for assistance without realising that it was a self-serving restaurant. Instead of explaining the way things work in the restaurant (self service) to an obvious tourist who don’t speak the local language - they seem to think that making fun of them and mimicking them is a great idea!! The ordeal didn't end there; the waiter continued to mock us in front of another colleague. I would never recommend visiting this place to anyone. The idiots in question are a disgrace and should realise that the world is a much bigger place than their small shallow pot hole. They should learn that basic manners and kindness are fundamental in the hospitality industry, and it does not take much to be...
Read moreThe place located in a very good point just up the street from st.Stephen's Basilica. Towards the evening hours, as every restaurant we found on the internet with my friend was full, it caught my attention because of its blue color while we were passing in front of it, and we went inside. Although the interior was not very large, the number of tables was sufficient. There was no crowd, we placed our order as we entered and sat down. Our food was ready in 10 to 15 minutes.
As a Turkish living in Europe for two years, eating a meal very close to my own taste and culture felt good after a long time. The taste of the oil and olives of the salad was also very good, as the meat was cooked with thyme.
It is a nice restaurant that I recommend to those who are interested in or love Aegean cuisine, instead of spending money on luxury restaurants in the...
