Very nice food and drinks for a fair price. We waited for quite a while to be served and then to receive our meal but in the end the food was spectacular (I had the vegan burger and my Husband the rucola salad in a refreshing fruit-based dressing, both very tasty). Good selections of wines, credit card payment available and the pub is open till late comparing to other locals in the area but the kitchen closes at midnight and it is useful to bear in mind that a 10% tip is added to the bill. We tried to get a table not once, but twice! Each of them, they refused to serve us superficial and made- up excuses, either “it’s too late”, or “we are full”. First time, my friend arrived asking a server what time they close, they said “in about 40” minutes. Once we arrived (5 minutes later), they told us they couldn’t serve us a beer because they were closing right away. Second time we went it was 9pm, plenty tables free, we asked a table for 7 people and they said they were full. Honestly, unacceptable to say the least. Very rude bartenders, over charged me for my drink! Manager is also rude as well. A simple misunderstanding was turned into a huge commotion by bar tender who began raising his voice and being extremely obscure. That is no way to treat customer, especially tourists! Had a great time, until I encountered the ignorant, discriminatory bartenders. They believe because we are tourists, we are supposed to be okay with how rude they are.
