Cheho Ferenciek tere — Restaurant in Budapest

My burger arrived and i thought it was great until my first bite where realised that beef was not even warm. I checked again and gave another bite to confirm coldness. Then asked the waiter if they could place patty on the grill again and very unhelpfully the waiter went towards the kitchen and left burger there. When burger returned and i gave another bite, it was still cold! I gave up and did not try anymore. Had not eaten even 1/4 of it and asked for the bill very disappointed. The waiter did not try to help me as a customer at all. At payment he charged me for the burger and when i questioned if he was really charging me for an item it was not served as expected, he turned his back and went away without saying a word. A lady came back, assume she was a manager, and a bit more politely she said she could not avoid charging me as i ate 1/4 of the burger… I very disappointed paid the bill but will never come back to the place as felt they only want your money there and dont care about the...

It is a nice place for a short stoppage and get a cocktail. The area is quite busy the afternoon time. We get 2 cocktails as an aperitif. Aperol spritz and a Budapest Negroni( waiter suggested the second one as a highly recommended / bar speciality but is nothing special and it is quite expensive ). There is no snack in town with aperitif or your drinks so we get nachos with two different sauces (cheese and chilli ) . The area is in walking distance from the river side so you can have a beer or an aperitif before have a diner. There is metro and bus station very near. A nice place to stop and relax while drinking some beers with friends. They have a wide variety of beverages (beers, cocktails, wines, sodas) and they also serve food (mostly regular stuff). They have outside seating which is great for the smokers or for the vitamin D lovers, but, if you're an avid sports fan, you can sit inside where it's cool and they have a TV. The staff is nice and helpful and they speak English and Spanish from what I've seen. The place is clean and the bathrooms are ok.
