Prices are slightly higher than in other coffee shops: a small cappuccino cup (~200 ml) 890 forints, latte 990. At 4 pm there were no more pastries, only cookies and a few cupcakes from the selection.
I ordered a beetroot latte, but it was just pink foamed milk with a sour taste😔No coffee was added. I didn't like it, I was even upset, because I wanted coffee with milk, and not just colored milk for 1090 forints.
Serving beautiful, neat dishes and branded wooden trays😍
The staff is polite🥰
There is good wi-fi, sockets. But this is not the best place to study / work, since there are uncomfortable high chairs without backs and narrow tables, my back started to hurt for 2 hours of sitting😣
There are also regular tables, but with a laptop behind it you can only sit 1, you won't be able to sit next to a friend.

Read moreA coffee house with unique atmosphere and minimalistic looks. The big windows on front really open up and brighten up the place. Everything interior wise is stylish and feels comfy. When your order a coffee it takes some time for it to be ready and you get a buzzer that calls you whenever your hot or cold beverage is ready, which in my opinion adds to the experience. You could also get cakes or something sweet to go along with your cup of joy or something salty if that's what you fancy. The place attracts a lot of tourists due to the location, but I find that it's not crowded to the point that I would avoid it. Also it's great to sit there with a notebook or a book and do some work or reading while enjoying your morning dosage...
Read moreAlthough I have not been to a great many cafes in Budapest during my really short stay, I can say with enough confidence that Madal is one of the best in the city. The most pleasant part of sitting in this cafe is a strange sense of positiveness all around which is difficult to describe. This energy seems to stem from everywhere - the smell of the coffee, the soothing music that is playing all the time and the vibrant smile of all the staffs. I visited Madal thrice during my 5 day stay and sat there for more than 2 hours every time with my cup of Cortado. No matter whether you want to find a cozy little place to spend some time alone, or want to get some work done outside office or want to spend time with friends and family, Madal will not disappoint you. I would go as far as to recommend this place to each and every coffee lover that visits the...
