IKONO Budapest — Attraction in Budapest

It was a really fun place. You can have fun and enjoy yourself but super expensive and staff at the entrance not superb. For the amount you pay, you dont get the service or the time to spend there. Staff was super rude at the entrance. For a first time visit, we entered and got zero guidance, no smile, no kind welcome nothing. When I asked are we all good can we start she told me to be patient that she will be with me in a second which then took longer (we didnt wait too much the problem was not being given instructions). In other countries when you enter you get a smile and a whole instructions and then you are asked to wait. You can get to the pool, immediately you have to take your shoes off which is the right thing but the floor was so dirty at least it should have been clean and shockingly, you are told you have only 10 minutes. Wouldn't go again...

I want to believe that the reason why this place has anything positive written about it on the internet is because they have man-made bots writing bullshit about this horrid location. The cost for this should be 0 euros, actually one should get paid to visit this place. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more scammed nor with less dignity than when I realized that all there is to see is some rancid, badly-done art that looks like it was done by the 3 year old child. Do not come to this place unless you are seeking to explore the depth of explicit disappointment and detriment of any form of human experience. I went to this exhibition because I had read a lot of positive reviews, and I honestly can’t understand how anyone could give it 5 stars… For a ridiculous price, there are only about 10 rooms with nothing particularly interesting to interact with—unless you plan to spend half an hour bathing in balloons. In one section, the entry to other rooms is so poorly designed that it’s easy to miss several of them entirely. The whole exhibition was extremely disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money. I was done in 5 minutes, which was an absolute joke, especially considering that for the same price you can go to the huge three-floor National Gallery and spend the whole day there.
