A Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite!
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while walking in the cold, shivering weather near our hotel. It’s a rather unassuming spot from the outside, but its high rating caught our attention. Intrigued, we decided to give it a try—and what a great decision that was!
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a kind and attentive staff member who quickly seated us at the table. The interior is simple, nothing special. I would say homely.
We ordered a selection of appetizers and the duck, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The duck was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. We didn’t expect such a gourmet experience from such an unpretentious place, but it exceeded all our expectations.
In comparison to the high-season prices and average food quality at the nearby Christmas market, this restaurant stands out as an incredible find—offering far better value and infinitely better taste.
I highly recommend stopping by this spot if you’re in the area. You won’t regret it—it’s truly...
Read moreThe whole restaurant has a nice vibe and design to it and is a decent size with around 8 tables with multiple seats and a couple more on the second floor. Father into the restaurant, before turning right to go upstairs is the cashier and the kitchen is downstairs. They also have a bathroom to the left of the cashier.
The menu has good options ranging from noodles, soups, rice, side dishes, and more. On one of the last few pages of the menu they have potential allergies marked down in a list. I will say though that even though it seems to be advertised as a Vietnamese restaurant it does have some similarities to Chinese and Thai food.
They also have a daily menu for every day of the week starting from 10:30-14:30 and I had ordered the Wednesday A set and it really good portion wise and taste wise. The prices were decent too for what I ordered. Overall, a nice tasty place to eat just I found the food to not be really authentic as I had hoped and a...
Read moreToday me and my family want to eat Vietnamese food just before we leave the beautiful city of Budapest and early dinner, since my wife and daughter love to eat Vietnamese food. We order 1 fried prawns rice, 1 fried rice with duck and Pho noodles soup with duck. I would say that the food is pre-cooked and not fresh, as the food was served to our table with in 5 minutes from the time we placed the order. The fried rice was very oily and not fresh, also not hot. The pho soup was instant noodles soup not the fresh cooked soup. The spring rolls I ordered was served without cutting it in to half as normally this will be served after cut in to half. I would say the ambience was actually pretty good. Cleanness was fine. However the quality of food was not what I have expected. I would not recommend this restaurant as the quality of food didn’t reach my...
