Fat Mo's Music Pub Restaurant — Restaurant in Budapest

At first, we were a bit hesitant – the place seemed rather empty – but it quickly filled up, especially once the live music started, which created a great atmosphere. The vibe, with classic American music and old movies playing on the walls, is truly unique.

The service was fine: friendly and pleasant, though not outstanding. It could have been a little quicker and more proactive, for example by noticing when our glasses were empty. Otherwise, everything was just right.

We both had the burger with foie gras and truffle – and what can I say? An outstanding burger: great quality, excellent flavor, and even gloves provided for eating it.

Perhaps not the very best burger in Budapest, but for me definitely among the top five...

Loved this bar, we visited every night of our 3 night break. The atmosphere was amazing. All the staff were very friendly. We visited on a Friday and Saturday night and it was very lively, with good music and dancing. The waiters are very good, it a very busy bar and they took orders and brought drinks to the table. Adrian served us very well both nights (Friday and Saturday) he remembered our drink orders from the night before. Sunday night was a bit quieter, but still fabulous atmosphere and good music. When i walked in this bar, there was a very nice live jazz so i decided staying. But it took me a while to order my drink and figuring out their wifi. The staff was so slow and not very helpful.

Once everything was settled and finally I could start enjoying the music, it’s the break and they started playing super loud country music. If I were after country music I wouldn’t have stayed for jazz. It wasn’t a party vibe, the bar was empty and the loud country music didn’t fit there at all
