Imádtam ezt a helyet ANNO! Kedden (2019.04.09) jártam itt legutoljára. De szerintem utoljára is. Rendeltem egy hamburgert, körettel, szósszal, dupla hússal 3150ft-ot fizettem érte. Az ár a legutolsó problémám, mivel a "minőséget" meg kell fizetni. 2-3 óra elteltével, gyomorpanaszok kezdtek előjönni, kínszenvedés volt az ezt követő 3 órás vonat út. Azóta eltelt 3 nap, még mindig szar a gyomrom. Az orvos szerint ételmérgezés állhat a háttérben.. Vendéglátós létemre saját magam is hülyének tartom hogy a Mediumra átsütött húspogácsát elfogyasztottam. Szerintem a húspogácsa nem csak marhából, hanem sertésből is készült. És mint tudjuk a nem rendesen átsütött sertés hús, nem igazán alkalmas emberi fogyasztásra. A kiszolgálás és a sörök teljesen rendben voltak, és ezért is VOLTAM visszatérő vendég több ízben is. Elfogathatatlannak tartom, hogy ilyen árszabás mellett, ilyen probléma felmerülhet. Sőt még az is elfogadhatatlan, hogy 3150ft-ért sertés hús kerüljön felhasználásra egy hamburgerben. Mélységesen felháborodott és csalódott vagyok. Hiszen ez a fél hét gyötrelem, a fizikai fájdalmak mellett, anyagi kárral is járt, hiszen dolgozni, iskolába nem tudtam járni. Abszolút nem ajánlom!

I used to love this place. On Thuesday (2019.04.09) I visited the HOPS BEER BAR again. I mean It was the last time..I ordered a Burger with dubble patty with side and sauce for 3150ft aprx. The price is my last problem because we have to pay for "quality". After 2-3hours I started to feel stomach-ache. I get a train and the 3hour long journey was a torment.These 3 days from Thuesday have been being a hell for me. According to a doctor it seems like a food-poisoning. I feel myself stupid because I ate a Medium patty (I am working in the hospitality business too) I think these patties was made by not only beef. They should conatain pork also. And as we know that - raw pork - is unfit for human consumption. The service and the selection of beers was everytime nice. It was the reason why I came back many times. It is totally unaccaptable - with these prices - to serv a burger what is made by pork. I am really disappointed and upset because these 3 days was really painful and I could not work and study because I had to stay at home. DO...

Excellent Place with a wide range of handcraft Beers from a lot of different places, not just Hungary. The people here really know their beer so if you have any queries or need suggestions, they can help. Prices are high, so keep that in mind, and overall the place can get crammed. Now, I did review Brewdog which is some blocks away, and in a way similiar (Craftbeer) to this place, but although I gave that place 3 stars, I'm giving this place 4 stars. This is because the prices vary and the selection changes frequently, also it's a smaller place, with more of a handcraft vibe to it. It's still pricey tho', but whenever there is a line in Szimpla and the other places around, you still have a chance to get a seat...

I loved the huge selection of beers and all the ones I' ve tried, were delicious.

However, we did not have a great experience with the bartender, he was way too cocky and disrespectful.

The biggest of our disappointment was when our friend asked if there is something in the 1000HUF range(which is still high in Budapest) and she was told to "go back and grab something from the shame fridge, maybe a lame Belgian beer"
