Service is extremely rude and condescending. Food looks good in photos but tastes mediocre, but the service absolutely ruined our experience. I went inside to ask whether they have space while the rest of the group waited outside. I was immediately told “wait outside!”. I went back outside and waited for a few minutes with the group. There were 4 free tables inside. The waitress came and seated us from outside, seemed ok at first. Then we started to order and we COULD NOT BELIEVE the responses we got. We ordered black tea and asked for milk. We were told no, that would ruin the tea and the tea is expensive. We asked again that we really would like milk. The waitress condescendingly informed us that “this would ruin it” and when we had to very uncomfortably insist we would still LIKE MILK with our black tea she RUDELY WAVED HER HAND at us and walked off. We then asked for sugar for one of our coffees, and AGAIN WE WERE TOLD NO, that would RUIN the experience of their coffee. We couldn’t believe this. She asked us as if “seriously? Sugar in your coffee? Don’t you understand this is good coffee?”. So rude. They eventually brought both but we had to insist and it was extremely uncomfortable. The food was only ok in taste, nothing special, but to be honest we could not wait to leave. We asked for some bread to go with our scrambled eggs and we were told they don’t have bread, rolls or anything of that sort- however the poached egg for a different member of our group came with bread… so. Just another example. I also notice this was mentioned in many other reviews, however the owner always responded that the coffee is speciality etc. please, as a note to the owner- do not ruin your beautiful place with such appallingly terrible service. You may think it’s the best coffee in the world, but if someone wants milk and sugar,...

We were really looking forward to coming here for brunch. When we arrived we were made to wait on the street by a member of staff despite there being lots of free tables (most of which stayed free for the duration of our stay).
We were eventually summoned in with a wave of the hand. When we got in there we heard the a member of staff telling another customer that she wouldn’t bring sugar to the table because she believed that they are are a specialty coffee shop and that coffee shouldn’t be drank with sugar as it ruins the taste. It looked like they made the customer get up and get their own sugar from the counter. I’ve never seen anything quite like that in any coffee shop or restaurant. It was both condescending and rude.
We asked for oat milk but we’re soon told essentially the same, that oat milk would ruin the taste of the coffee… (again they know better that the customer and pretty much every other coffee shop in the world).
For food we had the açai granola bowl and the fried chicken pumpkin hummus waffle. Both were underwhelming. The açai bowl had barely any granola in it and the “fried chicken” was like breaded chicken strips you’d get from a freezer pack at a supermarket and the waffles did not taste like they were freshly made.
The only saving grace was the coffee was okay, but it was no better than the coffee you get from most independent coffee shops and certainly not worth enduring the...
Read morePopped in here for brunch because I was interested in the chicken-avo waffle. When I arrived no members of staff were wearing facemasks, contrary to the info on tripadvisor on “what covid protocols can you expect” and when I was seated a glass was quickly removed from the table and the table wasn’t wiped off. Again, contrary to what tripadvisor says their covid protocols are.
I ordered a hot chocolate and a chicken-avo waffle and was told that they’d run out of both. It was 11am on a Monday and the restaurant had only been open for 3 hours. They said they could do the chicken-avo waffle but with a bagel instead of a waffle so I went for that and a ginger beer.
The ginger beer was ok, a bit more bitter than I would have liked. The chicken-avo bagel was very disappointing. The chicken is advertised as “fried chicken breast”. What arrived were two chicken strips that were clearly from a box and had been warmed in the restaurant before being served. The bagel was ok but nothing to get excited about and the avo cream was ok but looked like more filler than avocado.
The price was about 3000 forint, which for Hungarian prices is very expensive, especially for what the breakfast was.
I wanted to be excited about this meal and was honestly quite disappointed, will look for brunch else where next time I’m...
