NETIZEN Budapest Centre Hotel|Hostel is possibly the best hostel on the planet.
The level of cleanliness is exceptional, spanning from the rooms and bathrooms to the lobby and shared spaces.
The staff consistently exhibit a keen attention to detail, offering kindness and helpfulness throughout.
Conveniently located right next to the M2 Metro, it's the perfect base for attending events like the Grand Prix.
In my experience, this is the finest hostel I've ever had the pleasure of using. The building boasts modernity, and the rooms are thoughtfully designed. Don't forget to bring your lock for the cabinets. The staff's kindness, the worthwhile breakfast, and the amazing showers contribute to an impeccable stay. Every aspect is maintained with impeccable hygiene and cleanliness. The extensive range of facilities and services are offered at an incredibly reasonable price. Whether your stay in Budapest is short or long, like my week-long visit, Netizen is the ultimate choice. The location is also fantastic!
Such a delightful hostel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The contemporary and pristine environment is truly appealing. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people during our stay, and the atmosphere is brimming with friendliness. The location is perfect too!
Exceeded all our expectations! Despite initial concerns from recent reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by our fantastic stay. The toilets and showers were consistently spotless and available. Hairdryers were even provided in the bathrooms.
The Wi-Fi was excellent for remote work, boasting seamless connectivity. The co-working area was easily accessible without a keycard, even after checking out, and it was exceptional. Abundant seating options, numerous charging points, and ample natural light created an ideal workspace.
We stayed in both a 10-bed and a 6-bed dorm and appreciated that the lockers comfortably accommodated full-sized (65L) backpacks. Each bed had its personal light and charging points, while the comfort of the beds and adjustable AC temperature added to the overall satisfaction.
Secure luggage storage and small lockers could be rented with a cash deposit. Situated conveniently near a metro station and a Lidl, the hostel's kitchen was minimally equipped for cooking, yet it had a water filter and an ample supply of dishes and cutlery. The staff's warmth and helpfulness were consistent across the board. This was a remarkable stay! I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially for digital nomads.
In conclusion, I highly recommend NETIZEN Budapest Centre Hotel|Hostel. It truly offers an exceptional...
Read moreI way staying at Netizen Hostel for 5 days. The location is great. You can reach any major sight by foot or by using public transport and downstairs is a coffee place and a Lidl. I spent my nights in a 6 person dorm with a lot of friendly people. You can get a lock for your locker to store all your belongings. Unfortunately the bathrooms can be a bit messy sometimes. Other than that, I know that the room was cleaned once a day. If you are a solo traveler, go to the hostel bar if you can spot a barkeeper from Montenegro. He told me about all the good clubs and bars I should try. I enjoyed a drink and great chat with him every night before I went out partying. (Try his MaiTai it’s delicious!) I met a big group of other German travellers there and we had a great night having beers & drinks thanks to him. He connected with our group and it was a lot of fun having staff that makes sure you are having a good time & that helps you connect to the other travellers. Also try one of my favourites: The „Toffee“. It’s a house special and tastes amazing. If you like Espresso Martini, he does a great one too. I was a bit disappointed about some other barkeeper though. She handed me Espresso Martini in a Cognac (?!?) glass and it was the worst ever. Fortunately the other staff made up for it. Really shows how much a good service can make your trip so much better! The reception is 24/7 so if you ever have a problem there is always one to talk to. Thanks Netizen, if I’m back in Budapest I will visit...
Read moreI am a very easy person and can sleep anywhere with a normal comfort but I was really disappointed. I couldn’t sleep at all during the night, even with earplugs/soundproof AirPods. Doors were slamming all the day, and especially after 11pm. The people in my room did not really respected the sleep of the others. People were shouting, running, slamming the doors around midnight in the corridors. I know it’s Saturday and don’t blame people wanting to party but they have a huge common space downstairs. So this could be improved with some cameras in the corridors. The breakfast buffet was ok, and the cutlery could also be a bit better cleaned.
Despite all of this, the hotel itself is amazing, nice location, with everything you need just down the street. The bedsheets and rooms are clean. The common areas are also nice. It’s just a shame there is not cooking stove and just an automatic cooker and microwave and toaster. For a hostel, the ambiance is more like a hotel because I didn’t feel being in a hostel with social life like in any other hostel:
Finally, I found the staff very friendly, and the facilities of the hotel are really what it’s said on the internet. You have a big luggage room, washing machines, ironing spot, dryers in every bathrooms. That’s cool! And also lockers in the rooms.
I saw better prices but paid around 40€ for one night. I would unfortunately have paid the half of it, considering the competitors other hostels I stayed here before and...
