This was the worst restaurant experience of our trip.
Three of us ordered hummus, shakshuka, and kebab. Only one dish was served, and we waited over 30 minutes for the other two. When we asked, the server who took our order said, “You – kebab? You – shakshuka? Okay,” and waved us away with no apology at all. It felt very dismissive and rude. Eventually, only my kebab came—and it was completely burnt and nearly inedible.
The last dish never arrived. After waiting for over an hour, we asked for a refund, but the same server falsely claimed they had already given us all the food and accused us of lying. Our table clearly had only two plates. They refused to show us CCTV footage, said the manager couldn’t be reached, and offered no solution.
When we asked for the police, they refused and instead called building security, who also accused us without checking anything. The server kept mocking us and never once apologized.
※ For context: the chef was not involved in this behavior. He didn't speak English and stayed quietly aside the whole time without intervening.
Tourists at the table next to us also complained about missing food, and they too left without getting a refund. Awful service, burnt food, disrespectful staff. This experience ruined part of our trip. Absolutely not...
Read moreIt’s honestly hard to believe this is a franchise. Just one staff member’s disrespectful, mocking attitude completely ruined the entire brand image for me. The food took an unreasonably long time to come out, and the response to the delay was poorly handled. But what angered me the most wasn't the delay itself — it was the complete lack of any apology. Not even a single word of “sorry.” That’s what made the experience truly infuriating The female staff member who served me spoke in a condescending, sneering tone, especially toward Asian customers. It felt discriminatory, not just rude. And the fact that someone like that is representing your business on the front line? Absolutely shocking. There is clearly no proper staff training, no understanding of basic respect or professionalism. It’s unbelievable that you operate under a franchise name while treating customers like this. You are damaging your own brand more than you seem to realize. The worst part is that this dinner will stay in my memory — not because of the food, but because of the people. This was my last dinner in Budapest, and it left me with the worst possible impression. I will never return, and I strongly discourage anyone else...
Read moreFood was great but service was terrible. We we here a month ago, and got a seemingly new waiter, who I honestly hope is not working there anymore. After choosing our orders, we were told they are out of eggplants. Then we asked for more time, and after choosing a different dish, we were told they are also out of mushrooms. The third time they ALSO didn't have the thing we asked for. Then I asked the waiter to list the things they actually DO have, as we were pingponging for already 15 minutes like this. It turns out they didn't have chickpeas at the moment, which is already surprising given the main dishes of this chain are made out of chickpeas. But the more annoying thing was not letting us know about the things they are out of the first time we tried to order. When the food arrived, one main dish and several small things were also missing, had to reorder them. Meanwhile the waiter seemed having a great time joking with the rest...
