Park Residence — Hotel in Budapest

20mins walk from the railway station, the location is good, cheap price, but the room is old and dirty, doesn’t look like the pictures. The bedroom was smelly and so many hairs on the bed sheets. I think they didn’t changed it. Some lamps were broken and the air conditioner doesn’t work. It was really hot, so I moved the fan from the living room. Not recommend for girls to stay here, because the reception is quite difficult to find. I asked many people and wasted an hour to check in. It was mixed with another apartment. The lights were off, so dark and you have to find your room in the darkness. The check out time is 11am and they won’t keep your luggage. You have to find the coin locker near by. One more important thing, the door won’t lock automatically. You must lock it by the key after you are in the room. Otherwise somebody will go in your room! It’s not safe, easy to push the door and broke inside. I searched trip advisor and some comments on the internet, found that some people stayed here have been stolen laptop and wallet when they were sleeping. That’s made me couldn’t sleep well. We came to the apartment it was smelling mould and Musty smell. We came inside of room there was no detergent for washing dishes no shampoo or soup or bathing supplies there was also no salt and pepper. In the morning we told them there is no paper towel no coffee or anything else they said they were sorry but they don’t provide those and we can buy coffee or detergent and shampoo as they don’t provide them. We rented a suit with air-condition and fridge and tv. The first night we had the air condition but second night the air condition didn’t work any more we asked for help but they were sorry that there was nothing they could do. They also informed us that they will not clean the apartment and there was no supplies for us to clean it as well. Then the fridge stopped working and we had milk and meat in the fridge. They told us they cannot do anything and our meat and milk hopefully will not go bad but they will not change the room or do anything. I went to Prague and other places. Giving this a 2 star solely based on the location of the property. Great location right in the middle of cafes, bars and center. However our experience was not great to say the least. Upon checking in at 11:00pm we were not given the security proxy needed to get into the building and had to wait outside for 15 minutes in the cold until someone came out of the building because no one was answering the phone number given to us. The pictures are deceiving-the rooms are run down, white sheets stained with blood and vomit it looked like. The second night we noticed one of the rooms was infested with bed bugs .We counted 5 in the bed and 4 crawling out on the walls. My friend was so badly bit that we had to take her to the doctor to get treated as her skin was severely inflamed. We booked another hotel that night..
