Disappointing Customer Service Experience

I have been a loyal customer of Pho 18, visiting at least twice a week, and I have always enjoyed the food. However, my recent experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff.

Upon entering, I was directed to the main hall, but as I usually do, I went up to the gallery, my preferred seating area. There were no signs indicating that the upstairs area was restricted, yet the waitress with glasses and the gentleman with brown hair loudly stopped me and embarrassed me in front of other guests. Their tone and approach made me feel unwelcome, as if I was being reprimanded rather than accommodated as a regular customer.

While the food remained excellent as always, the customer service fell far below expectations. A simple, polite explanation would have sufficed instead of causing unnecessary discomfort. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure that long term customers feel valued rather than...

I live in Hanoi and was visiting Budapest for a few days. This restaurant was close to my hotel and I gave it a try. I had the Pho bo tai lan and my husband had the Bun bo nam bo. We both found them very good and tasty. Personally, I liked this Pho bo tai lan better than the original Pho Thin in Hanoi. The broth was super flavorful, the meat was good and pho noodles here are the closest to home that I’ve ever found outside of Vietnam.

Besides the amazing food, the waiter was super helpful and friendly. He spoke Vietnamese and gave me food recommendations that I was very happy with!

Highly recommend if you want to try authentic Northern...

We arrived 50 minutes before closing and wanted to seat outside but waiter was wrapping up the tables and chairs That’s okay, understandable When we went inside we wanted to go upstairs to that he also made and expression that we can’t go there so we sat just inside.

Waiter was very unprofessional and I felt like he wanted us to leave asap 🥲😆

Once he wanted to take one of our bowls but we said we are not done yet

And pho itself wasn’t that good, noodles were over cooked :(

I would definitely prefer other pho places...
