Pho & PadThai — Restaurant in Budapest

Well honestly this is the worst Bun Bo Hue I’ve ever tried. The restaurant itself is hot inside which created a unhappy feeling when I stepped in. The waiter was not really happy when greeting the customers, I have to wait for a while for him so he could give us the menu. The small Bun Bo Hue was actually even smaller than others places with really weird water based. I honestly don’t recommend this, if you want at least nearly authentic soup, let’s just hit other places, i still don’t know why they get 4.8 and I am started to think that they hacked the reviews or...

This place is a gem!

First of all the staff is very kind, and then the place is really cosy and not overcrowded, so you are not even forced to leave soon after eating.

The food was delicious, the portions are large (I read among the reviews they were small, so that is absolutely not true).

I dislike sushi strongly, but we ordered maki rolls, and they were so good, I changed my mind.

The only thing is, you have to wait for some time for your food to come to your table. Which is completely understandable, and it is worth the wait.

After having tried over 5 pho spots in Budapest, I'm surprised this restaurant scored 4.8 out of 5 stars. Pho was delicious but the portion size is agonizingly small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Budapest. Very little noodles were given and I counted two little pieces of shrimp, two strips of chicken breast and one egg for a meal that cost over 2000 forint. I was still extremely hungry after eating this "large" pho. 4 stars for the taste but 2 stars for charging "large" price for a kiddie bowl. Hell you get more in...
