Pizzasmiðjan — Restaurant in Akureyrarbær

It was a mediocre pizza restaurant at best. We went for dinner when the main restaurant is closed and were sent upstairs to eat at the attached restaurant. We got their dirty fries which were good but the pizzas (Mr. Meat and Spice Girls) both ended being better cold for breakfast the second day rather than at dinner. Our Mr. Meat only came with one meat on it.

Fine if you need a spot to eat but there is better in the area for about...

This place should expand to bigger facilities during high season! Lots of customers and at the moment we arrived just enough tables. No more or less.

The food was amazing! Didn't expect that Iceland knew how to make pizzas. While making your order glance at the big oven where they make the pizzas. The oven makes it possible for them to make really good pizzas in no time.

Good prices compared to a lot of other...

Little pizza joint attached to Bautinn restaurant next door. Maybe 15 tables. You order up at the counter and they deliver to your table.

They ONLY have pizza. Nothing else (no bread, pasta, etc). That was kind of a bummer.

Also, the price was higher than other pizza joints we tried in Iceland, but it tasted quite good and was baked really fast - like in 5min.

Would probably try something...
