**Halló Xin Chào: A Taste of Vietnam in Iceland** ⭐⭐⭐ We were excited to find Vietnamese food in Iceland, and Halló Xin Chào offers a welcome change of pace with friendly smiling staff. The Pho noodle soup is a comforting option for the Icelandic winter, and we enjoyed the quality of the noodles and meat. However, we found the broth to have a strong MSG flavour, which detracted from the authentic taste we were hoping for. The rice paper rolls were decent but could have been fresher, salad not fresh. We hope this feedback can be helpful for key improvements and for future diners.

The pho and broken rice here are really good. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. It took a little while to get the pho but it makes sense because the lady there does everything herself: takes orders, cooks, and cleans. She’s super kind and friendly too. Definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Nice viet shop in a small food hall in Reykjavik. I only tried the pork belly bao but it was very flavorful, tender and beautifully plated. Would love to try some of the other items next time. Thank you!

Great little place in a food hall. We had the summer rolls (rice paper rolls) and Pho ga. So good we came back the next night! Lovely staff and it didn't take long despite being Saturday night.
