Flatey Pizza — Restaurant in Reykjavik

This was my very first meal in Iceland one late night in October 2021. Because I was starving, the pizza tasted like heaven but it was really just good. Perfect for what I needed at the time. I got the Diavola pizza. What makes it 2 stars is the HORRIBLE service and incredibly RUDE staff. They all looked miserable to be there. Saw me standing there and didn’t utter one word to me until I said excuse me. Never looked me in the eye. I asked for my pizza to go so I can take it to my hotel. When it was done, they just left it on a platter on the counter. I reminded them that it was to go, and the guy grabbed a box and put it next to the pizza then walked away to continue talking to his coworker lol. Thankfully now I know of other pizza places should the need arrive one late night in Reykjavik whenever I go back. But I definitely won’t be back to this particular pizzeria. Maybe if they hire...

Well, we ate here twice. First time was okay, but today, the second time: not okay.

We ordered two pizzas, waited them for over 30mins and both were burnt. One of them; we realized it was very burnt (also) after eating, so, I brought to show them and they claimed that the pizza is not burnt but its just how it should be; crispy. We didn’t even want for a new pizza, I wanted to show how awfully their pizza was made.
