Where should I start...? We got in there and the place was a whole mess. We decided to still order but honestly, there's nothing worse than spending money on really bad food. We ordered 2 chicken pad thai and when I say they were bad, I mean they were really bad. There were 3 small pieces of chicken, barely no vegetables and the rest was just noodles, not even the sauce was tasting like anything, even less like pad thai. I was so disgusted by the place and the food that I was not able to eat anything. We tried to talk to the owner 2 times and explain that there was no chicken in the pad thai and that what we were being served was not pad thai and she simply did not care and kept asking us what was wrong with food and that the other places in Reykjavik are the same or worst. We tried to explain her over and over but it was clear that she has no skills to run a place and take any criticism. After coming to her with my plate completely full of food and requesting a refund because the food was disgusting, she did not care at all. This is a tourist trap and anyone that has ever eaten Thai food will know these people are only after the tourists money and they don't care if the customer is happy or even likes the food. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! There's plenty of other (much much) better Asian restaurants...

I'm not sure how they can call that vegan, and they should really take that off their wall, menu, and website. Also, I ordered my food to go, then asked for chopsticks, and they literally asked for my bag of food back, fished through it, and took out my plastic fork and took it back before being okay with giving me a pair of chopsticks. I understand not wanting to be wasteful, but they were...
Read moreThis is a really nice place. A small supermarket and restaurant. They don't have everything you would expect at a normal Asian grocer but they have the basics and then some. So you can get soy sauce, rice, some frozen foods, rice noodles, packet soups/noodles, marinades and sauces. I was in quarantine for 5 days (Dec 2020) and msged them via Facebook to ask what products they had and they kindly responded within 15mins-30mins and showed me pictures of the items I was looking for. They are super nice and welcoming. We didn't eat here as we didn't spend much time in reykjavik but the place always had...
