Where should I start...? We got in there and the place was a whole mess. We decided to still order but honestly, there's nothing worse than spending money on really bad food. We ordered 2 chicken pad thai and when I say they were bad, I mean they were really bad. There were 3 small pieces of chicken, barely no vegetables and the rest was just noodles, not even the sauce was tasting like anything, even less like pad thai. I was so disgusted by the place and the food that I was not able to eat anything. We tried to talk to the owner 2 times and explain that there was no chicken in the pad thai and that what we were being served was not pad thai and she simply did not care and kept asking us what was wrong with food and that the other places in Reykjavik are the same or worst. We tried to explain her over and over but it was clear that she has no skills to run a place and take any criticism. After coming to her with my plate completely full of food and requesting a refund because the food was disgusting, she did not care at all. This is a tourist trap and anyone that has ever eaten Thai food will know these people are only after the tourists money and they don't care if the customer is happy or even likes the food. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! There's plenty of other (much much) better Asian restaurants...

Eh...not terrible but not great. Also, they advertise "vegan pad thai" on the wall when entering the restaurant, but when ordering it, they tell you that not only is it not vegan, it's not even vegetarian (they didn't know the ingredients of the sauce, but said that they were pretty sure it had fish sauce in it). I'm not sure how they can call that vegan, and they should really take that off their wall, menu, and website. Also, I ordered my food to go, then asked for chopsticks, and they literally asked for my bag of food back, fished through it, and took out my plastic fork and took it back before being okay with giving me a pair of chopsticks. I understand not wanting to be wasteful, but they were...

This is a really nice place. A small supermarket and restaurant. They don't have everything you would expect at a normal Asian grocer but they have the basics and then some. So you can get soy sauce, rice, some frozen foods, rice noodles, packet soups/noodles, marinades and sauces. I was in quarantine for 5 days (Dec 2020) and msged them via Facebook to ask what products they had and they kindly responded within 15mins-30mins and showed me pictures of the items I was looking for. They are super nice and welcoming. We didn't eat here as we didn't spend much time in reykjavik but the place always had...

This was the wrong choice. Untasty Chicken Pad Thai ( 98% of noodles and 2% of chicken). No thai flavors at all and after complaining to the owner she started arguing and claiming that all the Thai restaurants around Reykjavik follow the same receipe Instead of correcting the dish she insisted on arguing about how good people say the food is. The place was a mess since it was busy and it was just her and a cooker (husband) managing the place. I guess shes not concerned at all about costumers, just the profit she gets from exploiting tourists (which im not). I will never come back.

We popped in for a quick lunch, and were really happy with the quality of the food and the presentation. The staff are cheery and helpful, asking how spicy you want the dishes etc. There are 4-5 tables in a bright elegant location, in front of the store selling Thai/asian essentials at reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommended, as locals, we will be back.

I had a shrimp stir fry rice and it was amazing. The food came very fast, ladies that work here are all friendly and it is cheap, considering the amount of food you get. There is also a small Asian market, with diverse products. Also, it is close to Hlemmur, a transportation hub, so it is a great place to grab something to eat while waiting for the bus.
