Kabab Korner is arguably the most famous landmark on St. Marks road and possibly the oldest. I've visited this place for 28 years and I have not had a single bad experience. Their biryani is always top class and their service has always, always been great. As of today, 21st of April 2018, it's sad to see Kabab Korner being given a 3.9 rating. Hopefully my review changes up something.
Let me reiterate, their biryani is top class. I love their chicken rolls and they also serve up some great Chinese cuisine. I also loved driving up and being served in my car. It pains me to see such hateful comments about Kabab Korner by my fellow reviewers.
For the ones who say the food is expensive, well this is St. Marks road and you do have to pay a premium. If you want cheap, go elsewhere. Don't rant about expensive food on St Marks road.
For the ones who complain about bad service, here's a thought, try treating your waiter with respect. You will be surprised how being polite is actually a good thing.

The place was established way back in 1981 or 82 & not in the 90s for sure (As most journalists have mentioned). Ask any Bangalore boy/girl from yester years... This is the most tried & tested food joint for us old Bangalore guys.

I still frequent this place every week to this day & will be for years to come.
Both Quality & Quantity.
I still go home & have my dinner even after a heavy lunch. This is how good their quality is.

Read moreI recently visited Kabab Korner, and my experience was deeply disappointing. The food quality was far below expectations—it lacked flavor, freshness, and any real appeal. For a restaurant that’s supposed to specialize in good food, this was a letdown.
What truly frustrated me was the outrageous pricing of basic items. They charged ₹40 for a 1-liter water bottle, which is typically priced at ₹20 elsewhere. Doubling the price for something as essential as water feels exploitative and unfair. It left a bad impression, making it clear that customer satisfaction is not their priority.
Overall, the combination of subpar food and unreasonable pricing made this visit feel like a complete waste of time and money. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend Kabab Korner to anyone unless they make drastic improvements in both their food quality and pricing practices. There are far better dining...
