We visited Heart Cup Coffee, Kondapur for an early dinner recently, and overall, it turned out to be a mixed experience. The ambience and atmosphere were really nice — vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for a casual evening with friends or family. Since we went early, we got a proper table without any waiting, which was a good start. However, the starters were quite disappointing, especially the non-veg ones. The Tawa fish tasted stale, the Loose prawns were chewy, and the Chicken coriander starter was just average — the chicken pieces were hard and not at all juicy. Even the Paneer starter didn’t impress. To make it worse, we had ordered two plates of each, thinking they’d be good, but it turned out to be a big mistake because we couldn’t finish most of it. On the positive side, the Kaju fry, Crispy corn, and Peanut starters were actually quite good. They were well seasoned, fresh, and had a nice crunch. These few items definitely stood out. The best part of the meal, though, was the main course. We ordered Dal Rice, Chicken Pulao, and Curd Rice, and all three were excellent — flavourful, comforting, and perfectly cooked. It really felt like the kitchen put more heart into the main course than the starters. Service was okay overall, but there were a few moments where we really struggled to get the attention of the waiters.
