Very bad experience - I wouldn’t recommend

We went there as a family yesterday for dinner. We ordered a couple of lassi which was very watered down. We also ordered Arrabiatta pasta which was far from any pasta I have had in the past. It was like a masala pasta. And the sandwich we ordered was the only item which was decent. They have a good ambience but they don’t know how to capitalize that with good quality food. We went in around 8:30 and almost half of the items on the menu weren’t available as per the server. It’s as if the restaurant people were least bothered about the customers. Not sure if this is the norm in Hampi or shouldn’t we expect anything better. And the prices are crazy. Its not priced for India customers. They have priced it equally high for both foreign and India people which is not affordable for everyone. The street vendors are way better...

Honest Review from Food lover!

I ate lunch and dinner in this restaurant. Lunch - Alu paratha, Paneer butter masala, Chapati. Dinner - Alu paratha, Onion pakoda

Paneer butter masala was worst part. Never had such worst food in my life time.

We went to send time as first time alu paratha was decent and felt all restaurants were same but the worst part for this time alu paratha which had during dinner was not cooked properly.

Common issues across all restaurants in Hampi

1. Wating time is more (If you are not in hurry it's not an issue)
2. Pricing is Heavy (a single cup of curd was priced 40rs)

Felt Old Ganesh Chill out food was good...

4 days back I visited Hampi. This was the only restaurant which has great taste & this is affordable too… me and some of my Russian friends visited here & what they also liked food so much. I tried every restaurant be it rooftop or anything else but I didn’t get taste there. Only here I felt the authentic aroma of food & taste like home. If you ever visit this place then please try their Fried Rice, Butter Paneer Masala, Alu parotha, tea, jeera rice etc. if you don’t believe then please try out other restaurant as well, you’ll know difference.
