Barley Bar & Bistro is located on the main Link Road Goregaon West and it is opposite Goregaon Sports Complex hence easy to find.
The restaurant is spacious with multiple seating options available. The moment you enter the restaurant the huge open air space looks amazing. Right now due to rains they have cover the rood however the amount of fans kept for ventilation is amazing. The lights, minimal decor and tables kept in a structured manner look great. They have kept small space for bar and DJ. The AC dining section is also good. So overall the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant is perfect for all type of occasions.
They specialise in multi cuisine and hence the menu provides nice food options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. The prices are not too high and the quantity served is satisfactory. Also they run various offers and events throughout the week so do check it before visiting.
I went here for. Thursday dinner and the music played was perfect. The kitchen service was on time and the table service by Staff Pushpendra & Mohammad was excellent as they knew the menu well and they were attentive.

Schezwan Chicken Butter Chilli Dry - Chicken chunks tossed with onion and bell peppers in light spicy schezwan sauce tasted delicious. Loved the chicken in this as it has crunchy coating on the outside plus the garlic in this gave amazing taste to the overall dish.
Chicken Thecha Kebab - A must try if you are a spicy food eater. Chicken tandoored to perfection with rub of spicy green chilli thecha tasted outstanding. Loved the spicy kick as it tests your spice tolerance level. I ate 2 pieces and I was done. But a must try here.
MAINS~ Veg Carbonara Pasta - Penne cooked perfectly in creamy cheesy white sauce along with herbs and chilli flakes with exotic veggies. This paste tasted heavenly as everything was on spot in this.
Chicken Tikka Matka Biryani - Very few places serve excellent biryani and they nailed it. Loved the rice to masala ratio and the chicken tikka in this was juicy. Also no elaichi or extra spices so full marks to this.
DESSERT~ Baklava with Malai Ice Cream - Loved this dessert. The baklava tasted the way it should be and it wasn’t extra sweet. The malai ice cream served along was also great.

Read moreBarley Bistro & Bar is a new addition to the fleet of Malad restaurants and bars. Dropped by this place last evening and I can clearly say that this really impressed us. Talking about the ambience they have massive outdoor dining setup which looks really awesome as they have the Dj console also over there making the vibe really groovy once the music starts. They do have indoor dining area on ground floor where there are 4-5 tables and on the level one they have decent amount of seating available. F&B is something they have left us totally amazed. In drinks we had strongest bull which is mix of four white spirits topped with jäger and redbull. Totally electric I would say and a must try. Also tried let’s pop which is there signature cocktail offering made up of bourbon whiskey, caramel, honey and butter popcorn. Lovely presentation where the drink is topped with butter popcorn on top. On bartenders recommendation we also tried threesome which is a shot having bottom layer of orange juice, middle layer of grenadine and topped with Jäegermeister. For the starters we tried sriracha chicken wings which was blazing hot and we totally loved it. Also had chicken cheese kebab which is a pan fried kebab like a chapli kebab wherein the chicken is stuffed with middle layer of cheese and served with mint chutney. Later for the main course we had grilled chicken cafreal sizzler which had two chicken breast pieces, herb rice, sautéed veggies and fries. A must try if you are here. We also had thai curry bowl which had generous portions of veggies and chicken in it. Even the steamed rice was suffice for two average eaters. To sum up our delicious meal for the desserts we had sizzling brownie with ice cream and baklava with Malai ice cream. Both these desserts were exceptionally well and even the presentation was top notch. After long time, we had such a good tasting brownie. Hospitality at Barley is excellent, and which is why we would definitely come back here again. Restaurant manager, Kunal and our captain Deep made sure that we have the finest...
