I have been a very frequent guest of yoko sizzler specially the 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 branch, but to my surprise on 10 January 2023 was a eye opener towards their pathetic service. I shall never again visit 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 branch again. It was waste of money & staff behaviour was very rude. On table there was a bottle of Tabasco sauce which was just at bottom .They denied serving new Tabasco sauce bottle by stating that it’s unavailable & it would arrive after 3 days. I requested that if any other open bottle available then please serve it , they clearly denied & stated that was the last bottle. While placing the order I had requested that please add more of mushrooms in the sizzler less of other veggies but to my surprise mushroom were very less & very small pieces. I requested for ice only 4 pieces of cubes were served for 2 peach ice tea that was requested.then I had to request again for ice.while leaving from the hotel I had notice inside the A/c restaurant side table had 3 Tabasco bottles & 2 Tabasco bottle on side table of non Ac side, so the restaurant think that guest us a fool not to understand their behaviour? They staff was rude where in they picked up the sizzler & plate of my mom immediately once she ate in a rude manner where as there was still food in my plate as though stating that you needed to leave immediately!!! Which was extremely rude behaviour.I didn’t complain there because all staff were involved. It was highly unprofessional behaviour. Resturant staff should understand that they are not feeding for free! The guest is paying a good price for the food that is ordered! I understand resturant are open for profit purpose but that doesn’t mean that you do cost cutting To the extent of not providing proper services & proper food quality . If I could give negative rating I would give ! It’s a first time worst experience that I faced at yoko sizzler 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 ! Total waste of money. I had eaten my first sizzler at the age of 12 or 13 when I lived in Santacruz and it used to be my favourite place to celebrate all the important days of my life. Tried the Malad outlet this time as it’s closer to my hub. It’s a small cosy place and quite neat and clean. There maybe 6-7 tables in all but since the service is prompt and attentive the roll over of tables is faster. We tried the food they are best known for and it’s as follows ;
Tomato soup. Was a good broth with a good portion size. Enough croutons in one bowl is exactly the way I like it. Was good. Garlic cheese toast. Was triangular bread toasted with garlic butter and layered with cheese. Was good. Paneer shaslik sizzler. A hearty portion with ample of vegetables and fried paneer cubes. The paneer was soft and melt in the mouth kinds. The pineapple was nicely grilled and perfectly juicy. The base sauce was just enough and didn’t make the sizzler soggy at all. Brought me back my childhood memories of this sizzler and they make it the same way from years. Nostalgia at its best. Sizzling brownie. Perfect and excellent. We also tried the peach iced tea and the cold coffee with ice cream and both were fantastic.

Read moreDon't think the food was fresh. The chicken seemed stale to eat and all the sizzlers had the exact same dark brown sauce with diff names and different prices. Its overpriced for the food and service we received. We asked for a bottle of cold bisleri water but they brought out an old filthy bottle with some unheard of brand and when we returned it they said that was the only bottle of cold water available. Such a big brand Yokos telling me this? Really disappointed I do not recommend this place to anyone. The AC restaurant had mosquitoes;we got bitten and we had to ask for a coil inside the restaurant. How do people thrive on cheating with such below acceptable standard running such so called famous brands of chain restaurants. So upset that they had the audacity of asking for a tip while swiping your card (the option is entered into the card machine) . So sly and hope this place stops cheating...
