Cafe Markiv's — Restaurant in Mumbai

Cafe Markvis located in quite busy and corporate area of Mumbai - Churchgate. Location is right besides Churchgate railway station so reaching there is quite easy one.

Cafe is 13 years old now and even they have completely renovated their ambience and even their menu too. Quite wide range of dish on their menu right from beverages, snacks to pasta and pizzas. Available in both vegetarian and non vegetarian as well.

Ambience is decent, with proper and sufficient lighting. Spacious seating arrangements and smooth service has added value to restaurant. Price compared to Quality and Quantity is appropriate. If you are known to Hollywood then you can definitely spot some movie shots on the wall of the restaurant.

I ordered: Avocado on Toast Cinnamon Mocha Hot Coffee

Talking about both of the dish certainly each element were well balanced with flavours and seasonings.

Avocado on Toast: Healthy toast to have at cafe. Nicely seasoned guacamole with smooth texture on light toasted bread. Clean plating ensured happy eating. Topped with fresh cherry tomatoes and olives gave good change to flavours and taste.

Cinnamon Mocha Hot Coffee: Refreshing combination of coffee and cinnamon. Strong coffee with mildly added cinnamon powder gave good mix to coffee. Best part was cinnamon powder didn't overpowered the coffee. Well frothy and served in right quantity. Right to say that combination certainly goes well together.

I would definitely recommend this cafe for place to chill out with friends and family.

5th visit: The Aglio Olio Pasta is a total 10/10. A Must try for those who love simple Recipes.

4th visit: Hired new better waiters thankfully. The Cream of Mushroom soup was a delight. Water still never served. Poor staff is over worked.

Third visit: The menu card is a xerox copy paper. However the service was okay this time. And yet again, water was never served. The BBQ Chicken pizza was tasty, so was the Chicken Pasta. The Mango shake was good but too costly. Chocolate shake was good, cold coffee with icecream was toooo sweet.

Second visit: comparitively okay. Staff remembered our faces and thus did well this time 😅. Quantity okay. Garden Pizza was really tasty. Romesco Pasta was good too.

First visit: Dumbest service staff ever. Thr Ac is not working, they don't give clean water to drink. Staff had to be reminded thrice to bring as many glasses of water as the amount of persons sitting at the table. They were messing up the orders. Didn't give plates or cutlery until asked for. When it comes to hygiene & Safety, Cafe Markivs has been outstanding in terms of precautions taken during this pandemic Its a heaven for both Veg/Non-veg lovers. The place is classy with vibrant surrounding. We were happy to visit for the dinein after thd lockdown. All staffs were proffessional, welcoming and courteous

We ordered the following :

1. Garden veg pizza : The pizza was fully loaded with fresh veggies like Avacado, bell peppers, olives. The base was thin crust and freshly prepared. The pizza came out of the box, just loved it , really didnt expected, it was cheesy too and all toppings went well.

2. Chowpatty sandwich : This sas the other dish we ask for, trust me their sandwiches are so fresh and good in taste. Fresh veggies with butter, chutney amd nucely toast was served on the table along with some french fries and dip. Even the fries were nicely done
