Read moreI did not like the way the staff behaved with me here!!
Service taxes are not mandatory irrespective of what you display and is upto the customers to pay it but the behaviour of the staff was very rude and as per the gst we are ok to pay but service charges PAN India is optional and all restaurants so far have agreed when we have asked about it!!
They started telling that we have conveyed and all that but the only thing the waiter conveyed us was that it’s 15% tax which is ok for Ac based but they did not mention that 10% is SERVICE TAX AT ALLLLL!!!!!!!
And when we asked about service tax both waiter and manager of the restaurant behaved rudely with us making us feel why we even visited this!!
When you pay cgst and sgst it’s understandable that you are paying tax to govt but I strictly do not agree to the service charges posted by them on the customer, if they have behaved calmly with us we would have agreed but they behaved rudely and there was too much attitude in what they spoke
If you are really ok paying nearly 500₹ as service tax, then you can visit else you can blindly skip this place with no regrets!!
In my personal view I wouldn’t recommend you to visit this place at all after what I faced🙂
Also if you are reading this, the mail id in the...
Read moreI went there yesterday (10th Jan 2019) with 7 of my friends during lunch time. We ordered beers and chicken wings there. We were not even done with the lunch but was close to it, they came to us 4-5 times to settle the bills then I said Ok, bring the bill to us and we will pay. But they refused to give us the bill stating the reason that machine is not working and asked one of us to come to the counter to pay the bill and they were in hurry. They didn't want to save the bill or print the bill but they wanted to settle the bill because they had written there in the computer and worrying that they have to make the bill for the next customer. After some discussion we agreed to pay the bill and gave them credit/debit card to pay the bill but again they refused to take it and asked us pay in cash of about rs 5088, again we had some argument and but since we did not want to create a scene there and also some of my friends had to catch the train so we somehow managed and paid the cash.
This is the situation of some big cafe like this in Mumbai who will do whatever it takes to encourage black money and don't pay taxes to the government. Can someone please tell me how to escalate this matter further to relevant authorities of government and Income...
