KFC — Restaurant in Mumbai

Would not at all recommend anyone to order from this KFC. Its the 2 second time happening with me related to the delivery from these guys. I ordered from Zomato, it was raining outside, I was in the mall roaming. I ordered and the delivery was showing 50 min, i wanted to go home early, so i enquired on the counter that was my order ready? they said no, but i could clearly see on their table that it was done and were waiting for the delivery guy. I called delivery guy and he said if you are at the store and would need to pickup from the store just tell my id and get the order and let me speak with them and you show your order details. All I just wanted was to get the order on time and leave for home. But they said they do not have that policy so delivery guy is required and you need to wait, I did not say anything and was waiting down the mall for the order. In spite of order getting ready in the first 10 min and the delivery guy arrived at the mall downstairs, the KFC guys did not show up with orders, no priority, no customer value and care. Very rude behaviour from them. They knew i was waiting down and repeatedly they said the guy from KFC has left with order, I do not know what he was doing in the mall for entire 30 mins, Ig probably roaming. And when the chicken arrived it was cold and soggy. So, the chicken which was crispy and hot then and they could have provided me then and there itself, they did not and my 900 Rs. went in vain. I rarely give a restaurant one star but there is something fundamentally wrong with the way in which this outlet is operated.

Whenever I order food from KFC, Zomato defaults to choosing this outlet as it is the nearest to my house. However, the quality of the food served here is pathetic, to the point that I make it a point to rarely order from this franchise.

However, in the past few months a new kind of problem has emerged, the restaurant takes more than one hour to deliver what is supposed to be an order one can receive at the restaurant in a few minutes. It’s not clear why this is the case, but one and a half hour for a simple fried chicken and fries order is abnormal. I think that the restaurant takes way too many orders beyond its capacity, leading to critical delays in the delivery process. To add to this, the quality of food issue is also exacerbated by this delay in delivery, making the quality of the food served pathetic.

A lot of times I absentmindedly end up ordering from this outlet which is when I know I’m gonna have issues with the food. This is my way of telling the franchisee to wake up and solve this problem.

Personally I think that KFC Malad ought to solve this problem. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough information to get to the root cause of the issue and...
