New Special Aanand Bhavan — Restaurant in Mumbai

Special Anand Bhuvan is a pretty old restaurant which is very popular with the office goers in the Fort area. The owner is humble and very welcoming. I was passing by Fort area and decided to pickup Idli as they were open only for takeaways.

The packaging was really good and the price was absolutely the lowest you can find at a restaurant. There were 2 Idlis which were of medium size, super thick Coconut Chutney & Delicious Sambar. The Idlis were pretty soft and the chutney was absolutely flavorsome. I liked the Sambar too but chutney was much better overall. I will surely visit this restaurant once it opens post lockdown for dining and try some more food from here!

A restaurant near CST having seating facility available and serving South Indian, Maharashtrian and Punjabi food

I have tried aloo paratha and chai once which was good.

But second time I tried Masala Dosa which was not tasty at all...even coconut chutney and sambar was not good. But the service is okay and location is also good.

The price seems reasonable and they also accept qr code upi payments.

Owner have good attitude towards customer but they don't serve saunf after meal which they should. But they have one unique facility that they offer paid Meetha Pan after meal which can be purchased from...

Authentic taste of South Indian food items. Small space but crowd is decent. price is very genuine and food preparation is simple like home. Whenever i travel to this area i do visit this place. They can improve the atmosphere but then it will not stay simple and economic thats why i like it...
