Heard a lot about Hotel Sachin but wasn't really impressed with the whole experience.
The menu was vast and was confused with thali and special thali.
Place looked deserted and food was okay. The order taker clearly told us about some of the fish not being fresh which seemed like a lie because he mentioned only pomfret which was expensive to be fresh. It was laughable.
We wanted to try out the mandeli fry which is something we don't try out daily but the waiter made sure that our taste buds don't matter and we had to order pomfret.
Food tasted bland especially the so called pomfret fry was horrible. It was bland and had no salt. Prawns masala was so-so.
Moreover when asked if the restaurant has a restroom, they say yes and guide us to a common toilet which is used by the whole building above and is just horrible. It is dirty and not women friendly at all.
Apart from this, I do order special mutton thali for my in-laws. The first thali that I ordered was impressive but when I ordered it the second time, it failed to deliver...

Read moreI recently visited Sachin Hotel, and I have to say, the quality has really gone downhill. It was a really bad experience. We ordered the pomfret fry thali, and honestly, it was a disaster… the quantity, quality, and taste were all disappointing. To make matters worse, we found a hair in the fish itself. I seriously have a question mark about how they clean their fish. I don’t understand why they charge so much for this.
We also tried the dal rice and chicken thali, but neither was great. When we informed the manager, he just said he’d give us another one. Since we were pressed for time, we said to leave it, but he did not adjust the bill at all. That’s such a basic courtesy, it really shouldn’t have been overlooked.
Overall, I cannot recommend this...
