Old Port Restaurant — Restaurant in undefined

⚠️‼️I do not recommend this restaurant. Shortly after dining here, I experienced the worst case of food poisoning I’ve ever had. I began vomiting almost immediately after returning to our hotel, which leads me to seriously question the hygiene and food safety standards of this establishment.

We were initially seated in the AC indoor section, but during our meal, we witnessed a rat running across the floor of the dining area. Disturbed, we moved outside and informed the manager. Shockingly, no action was taken. Staff continued to seat other guests in the same rat-infested indoor area. Another couple who had been seated inside also noticed the rodent issue, expressed their concern to the manager, and requested their food to be packed to go, just as we did.

When we asked for the bill, we noticed the beer we had ordered wasn’t included. The manager insisted that alcohol isn’t charged at this restaurant, which led to a brief disagreement, as we found this highly unusual and unprofessional.

Given the visible rodent issue in the dining area, it is highly likely that the same or worse conditions exist in the kitchen. This very likely explains how I ended up so severely ill. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant is unacceptable, and the dismissive attitude of both the manager and staff was extremely disappointing. Laughing at guests who are concerned about hygiene and safety is not only unprofessional—it’s dangerous.

Allowing customers to continue dining in a space clearly contaminated by rodents puts public health at risk. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate and serious action to address these issues. Until then, I would strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant for...

It's one of those places that you are bound to get cursed with when you're travelling. Just a wrong restaurant at the right place. The decor is just confusing and not comfortable. Tables had a dirty cloth on them, when asked to get a fresh one we got the excuse that all spare cloths are in the laundry, and it's against policy to remove the cloth. The man who I presumed is the owner will just don't care about anyone and keep walking and chilling around the restaurant. If you are a big group or a foreigner, you'll enjoy there. Otherwise sit back and wait for 60 minutes for fish. Beer was expensive too. Just...

We waited for 1 hour..... We asked them to atleast clean the table.. But didn't even cared... The food was expensive and was not even half of what we expected.... I have never felt rage, anger and disappointment in my life while eating... If I have the opportunity to give this place a negative star i could do that...
