Marina the sea face restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

Visited this place last Saturday along with my family. Had heard a lot of positive reviews about this restaurant and this was our first time. The restaurant is on the first floor. We reached the place at 1.30 p.m. The place was a bit crowded and all the seats were already occupied. There are 2 rooms- Sea view room and Street View room. 99% of people choose the Sea view room, because of the majestic ambience it offers. We too wanted the same. There were already 5 people waiting and we waited nearly 45 minutes to get our turn.

We ordered 2 Thali meal combo, 2 meals, Paal Konch (Prawns), and Chembally fry. Waited another 15 minutes for the food. But the whole wait was really worth it. What to say!! The best seafood I had in my life till now. Thali meal combo had squids, shrimps, 2 fish fry, Kera fish curry, crab roast, clam meat fry, netholi fry, paayasam, sambhaaram and some vegetable curries.. 🔥 but the real show-stealer was Paal Konch.. 🔥🦐. Yummy. Real yummy.. 😍 the way the chef presented it in our table was one hell of a watch.. it was really an awesome experience. The food was well cooked and prepared nicely. 🥰

The customer service too was excellent. Even though the place was too crowded, the shop manager was patient enough to handle each and every person. Although he looked a little exhausted, he didn't loose his nerve at all and managed the crowd very well. We all finally exited this place with very big bellies..😄 it was already 3.30 pm and there were still 10-15 people waiting for their turn..😉 no wonder why they all are waiting for their turn.. we will surley be visiting this place again and...

One of the seafood highlighted restaurants in Fort Kochi. Located nearby Fort Kochi ferry station and bus stand. Easily accessible area. This review is my personal view, my experience was not up to the mark. I felt the reels/ youtube reviews were overhyped or paid reviews. I ordered an ocean bucket and a paal konju. You can find ocean bucket contents in the menu. At the time of serving, the supplier told us that crab roast is not available, they could have been inform this earlier; instead of that they told us they have increased the size of fish fry. But we found no difference in the size. All dishes felt unflavored, I did not feel any flavor or taste in those dishes. Kappa was as hard as a stone, and fish curry was good. Coconut rice was yummy. Their signature dish paal konju were not up to the mark, but the coconut milk they provided with that was awesome. Regarding the ambiance, the sea view was awesome, you can have food by watching the boats and ships in the sea. But the only problem I felt was, they had placed a raw fish stall at the entrance of the hotel. Smell coming from that stall and the fragrance of the perfume they used to clean the floor, both are getting mixed and I have a temptation to vomit. Service is better one. The owner's behavior was very appreciable. Worth visiting one time. Limited space. Better book a space and order dishes in advance because of the looong delivery time. Overall, except for the ambiance, I felt everything was average. Don't trust the youtube reviews as they are hyping this restaurant to another level. I had an amazing lunch at Marina the Sea Face Restaurant. I ordered the seafood combo and paal konju, and I was blown away by how delicious and fresh the seafood tasted. The portion size of the seafood combo was actually quite generous, and it could easily satisfy almost two people. The value for money is great, and you definitely won't leave hungry!

The restaurant has two seating areas - one with a street view and one with a sea view. The sea view is definitely the preferred option, and we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a seat on that side. But let me tell you, it was totally worth it! The view of the sea is absolutely stunning, and it really adds to the overall experience of dining at Marina.

What really stood out to me was the exceptional service. Despite being very busy, the manager and waiters were all incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and valued as customers, and their dedication to ensuring that everyone had a great experience really shone through.
