I wish there was a option that I could rate it zero but minimum is 1 star
So I recently went to this restaurant Cons the ambience there was a ac which was not put to use and they were only two families (including us)
2 the price We ordered two things , roti(4) and Aalu gobi. As I'm from India 🇮🇳 I know the price of these things so typically in india roti is anywhere between 20 rs( 3677 idr) to 70 rs(12870 idr) max for this type of quality. But here in this restaurant one single roti was 30000😱😱and the Aalu gobi was literally 100k idr😱 and on top of all they charged a literall 15 per. Tax.
Our bill came to a grand total of 253k Which is roughly 1375 INR these things cost in india only about 800 rs in a good famous restaurant and you can get yourselves a juice chai or coffee in this price range
We can get local balineese food 😋 called nasi goreng for the amount they charged us for service tax
Pros food was good
That's it Haha
Though I have heard of the saying. You live once so don't think twice I'm pretty sure that this dosent apply to thinking of choosing this restraunt
Hope this helps...
Read moreBeing vegetarian, wanted to visit a restaurant that serves only veg food
After identifying few in Ubud area, Bali - zerod in on New Delhi Pure vegetarian Indian restaurant. Situated in the busy street of Bali, took grab to reach the place - very easy to identify.
As we entered, got a very good feel of home. A simple ambience with wooden chairs and tables. Welcome with wonderful smile by the staffs. 1st impression was great as the aroma of the food was all around.
I and mom visited and we ordered: 2 butter chapati - super fluffy and tasty 1 lacha paratha - excellent taste 1 kadai paneer - very good. Super soft paneer. Masala and salt was mild and very tasty 1 Dal makhani - very yummy. Really loved the taste with couple of fresh white onion rings
We asked for dishes without garlic and they honoured
Overall a very satisfying and fulfilling dinner.
Enquired on their restaurant at Kuta as we will stay over there shortly. The person explained to us which outlet to go and they will guide us to the pure vegetarian restaurant.
Price was very reasonable for such good food.
Highly recommended...
Read moreI met few Indians who suggested me this place when I asked them about Pure Veg Restaurants. Food: Food is really average compared to Indian foods we have had in abroad (Not comparing it with Indian Food we get in India. Ofcourse it won’t match) Ambience: It’s below average compared to other restaurants in Bali. It will give you a feel of some street side restaurant in a town in India. Service was on time No complaints about that. Price was really over the top. The most expensive indian food I have had abroad but it’s not like they don’t tell you the price beforehand so it was our choice to have food there even after knowing the price as we didn’t know any other pure veg restaurants in Ubud until we found one. Dapur Usada is something we found on net. Veg (Eggs are available), Great Ambience and Amazing Food And not costly at all. One should definitely choose Dapur Usada over New Delhi Restaurant. Looking at the owner’s replied to other reviews I know he is not gonna take this criticism well and comment something really rude. But this will help him to...
