It looked amazing from the road and we were told there was a back area. we chose to sit at the back since the road side was very loud. we sat at the back area, it was even louder and had no form of decoration or soundproofing. instead there was a massive speaker playing music very loudly. Not a nice speaker with surround sound. it was just pure noise and music in your face.

we moved inside and waited for our food. the food was served and it was not appealing in any way. i ordered a beetroot hummus. one of my favourite foods that i love to eat in Ubud. After a mouthful, i realized something was wrong. i took another swipe at the hummus only to realize it was moldy. it tasted bittery and fungusy. my husband tried too and spat it out.

i called the staff and explained to her. she tried to explain that beetroots may taste earthy. i asked her to make another batch with fresh ingredients and she suggested plain hummus (she thinks i don't like how beetroot tastes) this made me annoyed and at that point i just wanted to get out of there.

the hummus came. it was probably 4 milimeters thick. it tasted bad. since i paid so much i thought i had better eat it. it still had that awful taste to it.

pretty much as soon as we continue our walks, headaches, shoulder pain kick in. our heart starts racing and we are cold sweating. we call it a day and take A LOT OF CHARCOAL.

owner, please maintain the quality of your food and do something about the noise. there are so many amazing places on the road and most of them are able to mute out the noise...

The food quality, price, and service were all top notch. We went for dinner one night, liked it so much, we went back the next night.

I will summarise what we ate with pictures of the meals and juices.

Falafel wrap. It is served with fries and beetroot. The combination of the various things on the plate make for an excellent and filling meal.

Margarita Pizza. This is thin crust. Though I normally call this is a basic meal. This wasn't basic. It had its own distinct taste and the size of it was quite large. Very much worth it.

Mix grill. All the food cooked on this plate was nice and juicy.

We had the following Fresh juices that you could see being squeezed Infront of you. No fake freshness here. Orange. Dragon fruit.

Food was nice. Excellent service. The only reason why I’m giving one star is because after being served perfectly by the waiter we decided to give him a well deserved tip. So as we leaving I get in front of the bar area and see the waiter that served us and give him the tip wrapped up inside the bill.

And as I walked out I see the person behind the bar getting the tip from him and putting it inside the cash register.

Listen mate I worked in hospitality for 5 years and I know that they are not earning much. You running a business that I hope will be successful and will bring you a lot of money.

But You can’t take someone else’s money. You eat in your own plate, let them eat in their own too. Hopefully you’ll change your mind about this after reading...
