A little disappointing to be honest. Having experienced Turkish food and culture where service, generosity and experience generally goes above and beyond, Yassa missed the mark.
Ordered the mixed grill for takeaway. The meat tasted fine and had flavor. However, it wasn't quite as charcoal flavored as I've come to expect from Turkish BBQ. Perhaps should have read what was included more closely. The picture showed roasted vegetables which were not included. An onion salad was meant to be, it was not. So my 400k meal just some meat, flat bread and an eggplant dip purchased separately. A pretty bland looking meal lacking the typical colorful, flavorful experience I associate with Turkish food. Usually, at a Turkish grill, I've received a few small salads (fresh onion/cucumber/tomatoes, etc.) roasted tomatoes, peppers, onions and rice all included for the same price. The lack of all these extras this made it feel like an expensive and somewhat bland meal compared to a traditional Turkish experience. Granted we are in Bali, but still. I've had top notch Turkish experiences and hospitality in other countries.
The servers were polite enough, and I was welcomed by the ownere which was appreciated. Food, however, took quite a long time to be prepared.
Atmosphere, not really a restaurant vibe, pretty plain decor. More of a late night come and get your eats kind of place that's easy to clean.
The base elements are there, but could be elevated some more...
Read moreVery tasty authentic food Clean Quick serving Good food presentation Smiling and kind staff Rest room was available and clean The Chicken Kebab Plate had a good portion. The chicken meat was juicy and well seasoned. The salad was fresh maybe a little too salty for my opinion. The fries was well. The Baba Ganoush had a good portion and good taste. You can also order a spicy version. I had it and it was nice. Included was tasty wrap slices with a tomatoe sauce and a grilled really hot pepper.
o To be honest the prices was higher then normal in Bali but you get authentic quality food and the restaurant is in a popular area
o The indesign of the restaurant has a lot of potential for improvement but in fact it does not affect the quality of the food. Give the food a chance and you won’t regret it.
o It's a Turkish style food restaurant therefore they have no special sauces like in Kebab Restaurants in Germany. But in my opinion the meet was juicy enough usually you don't need sauces. If you want you can get Ketchup and Mayonnaise.

Read moreI read great things about this place but honestly, the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not as exceptional as some reviews suggest.
The kebab meat was decent, though a bit dry. The hummus was quite bland, missing that rich, spiced flavor you’d expect. The bread served was just a standard tortilla-style wrap, nothing special.
On the positive side, the side salad with tomato and onion was fresh and flavorful, and the kefir drink was a nice touch. I did find myself wishing there had been a tomato or yogurt-based sauce to go with the kebab to bring it all together.
Unfortunately, if you've ever been to Türkiye you'll notice quite a big difference in the...
