I visited Healthy Warung in Ubud recently, intending to enjoy a meal as I had heard good things about their healthy menu options. Unfortunately, I did not even have the chance to order food due to the service experience I encountered.
When I arrived, there was no one to attend to me, so I sat down inside to wait. Eventually, a lady came to my table, but she did not greet me or say anything. She simply placed the menu on my table without a word and walked away.
As a customer, I felt neglected and unimportant. First impressions matter greatly, especially in a service-oriented business like a restaurant. A warm greeting, eye contact, and a simple smile would have gone a long way to make me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.
I hope Healthy Warung can reflect on this and improve their service approach. Staff training focusing on basic hospitality standards and customer engagement would enhance the overall dining experience and ensure customers feel comfortable staying to try the food.
I am still open to returning in the future to try their menu, but I sincerely hope their customer service improves to match the good reputation...
Read moreGetting double ginger tea gone wrong. Sadly speak :( maybe staffs were already having a bad night. Regardless, the unhelpfulness and meanness demonstrated were a bit shocking unfortunately. A vegetarian restaurant displaying love and compassion did not match up to the execution apparently. Had a dish or two here but lots of tea daily due to a recent cold. The staffs were paranoid and annoyed in handling the request. The owner also showed indifferences. It's sad to know that the restaurant isn't based on kindness or true divine values. Curt and cynicism may be the side effects of the tourism business. This business is no different evidently. The efforts to make amends led to more disgrace and some level of humiliation was probably the most shocking thing in this whole experience. It's like " seriously?!" Doubling up the ginger and paying double for it should be enough. Bad attitudes continued relentlessly. A little compassion could really go...
Read moreThis is a family restaurant. The food they cook is authentic balinese. Every bite is wonderful. Would recommend 1 million times. The prices include tax and service so no hidden fees. The portions are amazing and the people are lovely. I also randomly met another solo traveller there so definitely recommend if you are alone and want to meet people. The vibe is very chill. The vegan food I had was incredible. You must try the nasi campur vegan! I also had to try their veggie bowl which was amazing honestly and so worth the price great portion great taste and the granola...
